Folks, no one enjoys spending money to replace an entire A/C unit...but I have to tell you in putting my new A/C unit in a 1985 house in a 100+ degrees this July was the best money I have spent. I shopped around several of the major A/C players in Tarrant County. They quoted run of the mill quality units...fortunately I know a little about A/C products. Then I called Metro Energy Savers... The knowledge of the owner who came in, who went through my entire attic, redesigned an old outdated system, ductwork, layout, & brought the new one up to 2016 code (confidently calling the city to inspect the finished job) was absolutely impressive. NONE of the others came close in their knowledge of A/C...nor did any of them talk about code, even though they looked at my unit. They were simply going to drop a unit where the old one resided...(one did not even go up in my attic)...none of the others would have met code even closely. They were merely selling me a unit 4 commissions. It was clear Metro was very different. The installation team they sent out was phenomenal. Very thorough, & professional.They did a tremendous job in my attic...they took their time & did it absolutely right. It was odd that my immediate neighbor was putting in a system at the exact same time...their teams looked like they just got out of Prison...They have complained about their system ever since it was installed. My team was wonderful, friendly. professional & knowledgeable. They put in an industry leading technologically advanced unit, a new additional return vent on the other side of the house for better circulation, a Global Plasma Solutions Purifying System upgrade which is amazing if you have allergies etc. & all for a price that was comparable to the others everyday units. Here is what I know...with my 12 year transferrable warranty, the quality of Metro Energy Savers as a company, I know I will not have to worry about my system ever. I usually do not endorse many companies, but I will tell you if you are considering any type of A/C work...start with Metro...you will quickly see everyone else does not stack up...even closely. I got an outstanding quality system, installation etc. at a price that was fair & impressive. Thank you. PS. My August electric bill was well over $100 cheaper this year than in 2015, & $120 cheaper than my last months bill prior to the new unit, & August was very hot...I suspect over the next few years, with these electric savings, I will pay for a significant part of the unit...

At first I thought I was getting great service. The repairman was very polite and seemed knowledgeable. He told me what he thought the problem was, how he was planning on fixing it, and the cost. He told me he would wave the service fee, only charge me for the parts, and even give me some free freon for my AC unit. He said he would try to fix the problem quickly because he knew I had a dog and kids in the house. Only later did I find out that the parts he charged me 500 dollars for only added up to be about 100, if that, and the fix only lasted two days before the unit completely blew out. Granted he may not know have that would happen however trying to get the company to come back and look at my AC unit on a Saturday was like pulling teeth and they wanted to charge us a "weekend emergency fee" even though on their website clearly states that their business NEVER charges for weekend services. All in all I felt very taken advantage of and needless to say we will not be using this company to replace our AC unit.

Due to a bad experience I had with these people two years ago, I have asked them, twice, not to call me again. They called me again today. The bad experience was I had a drain pan issue where it was running out of the overflow, the main pipe was blocked. They were out here twice, never pulled the top off the pipe in the attic, told me I needed a complete new unit, and had to get a Heat Pump to save the most money. The problem was I had a new sink put in and obstruction in the pipe at bottom, top had a big piece of mold from standing water. The third company figured it out. For half the price I was charged, twice, two visits for them to not be able to fix it. Oh, I also ended up buying a unit for $1800 less than there quote, installed. I also did not have to get a heat pump. I would recommend you avoid these people at all cost. If they ever get your number, they will call at least yearly, usually more. I highly recommend you avoid them.

I want to thank the men from Metro Energy Savers for quickly responding to my call when our A/C unit in September on a 90 degree day. Jesse & David arrived with a complete new unit & spent the day removing the old & installing our new unit up in our attic & outside. They spent most of the day up in the attic working with little breaks. They were very professional introducing themselves & explaining what all would take place. They were very careful & respectful of my home! They placed coverings on their shoes & cloths down to protect the floor. There were times that I hardly knew they were here. I feel very comfortable in recommending these two gentlemen for any service that you could need. Metro Energy Savers was definitely our "Savers" in timely responding & installing our A/C & Heating unit! I would recommend this company for all of your A/C & Heating needs! Metro Energy Savers is the best company for all you air conditioning needs. They are honest, reliable, reasonable and the service is Great!. have used them for the past 3 years and will only use them for all my air and heating needs. Over the years I have called on several HVAC companies and none have pleased me like Metro Energy Savers. From installations to service calls, the work is done right the first time. Our a/c was leaking water AGAIN, and we called Metro. Chris Dybvig came out and investigated the source of our problems with the a/c. It is 15 years old and had multiple problems. We just needed a new unit and Chris helped us through this purchase. He explained various methods of payment and started installation the next day. His installers were beyond excellent, very clean, very friendly and nice and above all else most knowledgeable. There were a few bumps, but Chris came every day until they were solved. We probably bought from Metro because of Chris. We like that he is our a/c person solely now and we feel we can count on him. Chris is just the nicest, most knowledgeable technician and person. Our AC unit had went out over the weekend so we had contacted metro energy savers. A guy had came out and looked at our unit. He was certain it was one thing and also recommended getting new wires for the outside. He left that evening never fixed anything. The next day I called their company and they sent out a one of their top tech guys. He came looked at our unit. Once he turned it on it started blowing cool air. Then he went on to say we needed a new unit @ $8,100 etc.... so my husband and I decided to get second opinion from Stark Air (highly recommended btw.) their tech at Stark Air said our unit was just fine. They changed out wiring and and we needed up needing a new cuircuit board. So far so good with Stark Air repairs and also at a low price compared to MES. I highly recommend getting a second opinion!

I want to give a special shout-out to Wayman, who has been my technician for more than a decade. Wayman is an extremely knowledgeable technician, but more important, Wayman has extraordinary people skills. Friendly, efficient with the service call, and explains the issues to me in layman terms. I have been with MES for several years. I have always received great and timely service. Kudos to my service technician Joe. He is intelligent, polite and patient. He showed me a picture of my unit in the attic which was covered in what appeared to be mold spores. He told me about the GPS (Global Plasma Solution) and explained its benefits which includes trapping air borne mold, viruses and bacteria. This is a must have for anyone who has asthma or any other pulmonary related compromised illness. Again,Joe is knowledgeable and kept me informed of what he was doing every step of the way. Great job, Joe and MES! I will request Joe the next time my system is serviced.

Perhaps one of the most professional, courteous and prompt experiences I have ever encountered. Plus, their prices are very reasonable. I called on a Sunday evening because my air had gone out. I was told it would be a couple of hours as there were several people in front of me. About 45 minutes later I get a call from Justin, the technician, stating that he would be at my house in about 30 minutes. He came as promised and resolved my issue in about 30 minutes. He was very patient, courteous and professional and took his time explaining to me the reason why my air did not work. I have had no problems with my air since Justin fixed it. I am a customer for life...

First, we are a long time (over 15 years) customers of Metro Energy. We have been extremely happy with the service Metro has been providing over the years. We got to know Nathan when he came as part of the install crew to setup a replacement AC/Heating unit about 5 yrs back. He was very courteous, helpful and generous with advice. It as a pleasant surprise having Nathan coming back on regular service calls. He has not changed in his approach to clients, we are very pleased for to have him do the detailed maintenance checkup and looking forward to working with him on further calls. I turned on the heater the other night and nothing came. We were having a houseful of guests over for dinner and I needed help immediately. I called Metro and told them my situation and they had a technician in the area on another call and had him come over within 30 minutes. They checked out my situation, and the breaker had tripped for some reason. They flipped it the breaker and and we had heat. My guests were all ederly people who cannot stand getting cold. Awesome service, I have them scheduled to come do a check uo once my company leaves town. What a relief. Thank you.

I called Metro Energy Savers last night because I came home and had water leaking from the ceiling where my AC unit is located in the attic. They quickly sent out Waymon to check it out. He assessed the situation and made an appointment to come out the next day and fix it. He explained what caused the leak very clearly and I was able to communicate that to my husband who was out of town with great confidence. I also had to take a work call while he was there and he waited patiently. I highly recommend Waymon from Metro Energy Savers!

My service from Metro Energy Savers was great! The service technician was dressed in a clean and well ironed shirt and slacks. He was on time and immediately presented his badge as I greeted him at my door. He explained in detail every service he provided during his visit. He took the extra time to clean up after he serviced the air conditioner inside and outside. He was pleasant, respectful and displayed excellent people skills. Mr. Nick Liles was great.
