Jake Thrasher

Tried to take out an auto loan, and I was told that all I need was my pay stub and 25 dollars to open an account. After I waited for the banker to process the paper work he told me that I had to bring my down payment in to open an account and they would right a check for the full amount of the vehicle. I explained to him that the lady I spoke with on the phone did not mention any of this and he simply said, "sorry thats the way we operate." Will never do business with this company

I have been a member with GFCU for several years. Today I waited for a notary for 40 minutes after I was told to wait and someone would help me. When I walked back up to the counter after 40 minutes to ask if there was a better time to come by, the answer was "you could try another location." As I finished talking to the teller, one of the notaries became free and took in an individual who had just walked in the front door. The lack of customer service is disheartening.

Good customer service. I typically use the Wade Hampton Branch because it is close to my work, but all of the branches seem to have good service, friendly staff, and get you in and out or through the drive thru quickly.
