There are not enough words in the English language to express how thankful I am for MJ Goodwin. She was able to keep me grounded through one of the worst seasons of my life... never setting the expectation higher than what she could deliver. Mrs. Goodwin shed a comical light on situations without lessening their severity… often reminding me that I was stronger than I thought and that no matter what the opposition brought, we would get through this. Sure enough, we did. Throughout my difficult divorce she was able to keep the children and their needs as the main priority. I am probably most thankful for this. Despite many upsets and personal attacks she was able to maintain composure and lead things in the direction she saw would benefit the children. I never once felt like ‘simply a client’. The entire office staff made me feel like a priority, like a real person whose opinions and needs mattered. I highly recommend MJ Goodwin as an attorney. She is one the most authentic, honest, and kind people you will ever cross paths with and you will not regret your choice should you choose her.

MJ, as far as I am concerned, is not just the best attorney in the UpState of South Carolina but one of the finest people I have had the privilege of knowing. She made what I would accurately describe as the worst experience in my life, divorce, be as manageable as it could possibly be. She was very professional, knowledgeable, persistent, consistent and resilient throughout the process. She kept expectations at the appropriate levels all the time and worked very hard to achieve those expectations.
