When I first contacted Valerie L. May’s office I was completely hopeless. Several other attorneys told me that I would be better off returning to my home country than fighting my J1 Visa Waiver case. After 2.5 years of pain and disappointment and thousands of dollars spent on other attorneys, many of whom were not very ethical, I was skeptical. I have already heard great things about Valerie May’s work and decided to trust her with my case. She and her staff guided me through the process every step of the way and we worked together through it all. I was able to proofread all the documents before they got sent to the USCIS office just to make sure I was comfortable with everything. The price for the services was fair and reasonable. All my questions (and I had a lot!) were answered in a timely manner by one of the members of staff or Valerie May herself. I would especially like to recognize Mr. Mark Harley, who has done major work to ensure my case was a success and prepared me for my interview later on for the adjustment of status. What these two people had done for me is truly a miracle and they had changed my life in the best way. I am now able to stay in America with my husband and not worry about my immigration matters. I have not dealt with a better or more professional attorney who really cares about your situation and fights for the success of your case. I have almost given up hope and was told by numerous other professionals that my case was very complicated until I came across Ms. May. I am extremely lucky to have been a client of hers and can testify that her work is based on quality and efficiency. I wish if I could give them "zero", horrible service, I will never recommend them to anyone. I gave then $1500 as deposit but they never worked on my case. I was told my file was lost, no one in office knew what was going on. I withdrew my case from them and filed all my paperwork myself. My money was never returned, although no paperwork was initiated by Val and her office at all.
