They have made it completely impossible to set up online access to pay their credit card. There were two options, send a text message code or security questions. The security questions were disabled and the account holder did not have a cell phone. Totally screwed. After many calls, I added my cellphone to the account. Went back in to sign up for online access, they said they can not send a code to that cell phone, because it was edited too recently. Went back in the next day, and got the same error message. Their procedures are a bureaucratic nightmare and the endless phone calls are an exercise in futility. They give you the option to rate their service after the call, and that does not work either. Save yourself much hassle and go elsewhere for your credit cards.
I have nothing but good things that come to mind with this company. Ultimately, it comes down to the customer service that is a benefit in itself when you become a part of their team. The car insurance is something to not ignore either - fantastic rates. I handle most of my life affairs with these guys and have found no one close to their competitive offerings and again, the customer service is unmatched and unfound anywhere else. Unfortunately this is a niche banking/insurance company with ties to the military, but the best nonetheless.
Horrible service. Insurance is cheap which is nice but if you ever have a problem expect to be lied to at every turn. USAA refused to send someone out to look at my car for about two weeks and because if that I had to extend my rental car, which they refused to pay for. Absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the by New York State law it is supposed to be done within 48 hours. Seriously atrocious service.
Been a usaa member for 6 years now. And i have never been disappointed! The customer service is fantastic and u dont get put on hold for hours upon hours and they answer all your questions and are very friendly working with you if u run into a problem. I am very happy to have USAA insurance on my side
I love the great customer service that I always receive. The representatives are very knowledgeable and seem to care about its customers, the VETs. I have been a member for 18 years now. Even when I make a mess, USAA helps get me back on track.
The best institution you could go with. Always available to assist, and super helpful when ever you have questions, no matter what time. If you do not have USAA, you are missing out.
Is there other locations in N.Y.?? Im a spouse of military and i need a usaa bank or atm near ft drum or Syracuse ny can someone help?
Be prepared!! If you are getting an auto quote, it will take over an hour and you will be on hold half that time!

Auto insurance is the cheapest I have found and beats others hands down.
The cheapest car insurance there is and very good customer service.
