No follow up with the people that need to follow up with to insure an on time closing, On a regular basis they would say "oh yea, we have eveything we need" were just waiting on this one last document then when they get it, they bring up another item they need that was overlooked. They new the closing date like everyone else. They are very passive and not proactive at all. Very unorganized and very quick make excuses on why things are happening when they should happen. Avoid this company at all costs. A good title company will work ona time line and make sure things are all in line for an on time closing. These people could care less. Their favor things, " i sent them an email, what more do you want". That pretty much says it all up right there.

My escrow closed end of November 2008. It is now almost the end of March 2009 and they have not figured out and paid my secured property taxes properly. Because of this, the county keeps adding more penalties to my account because Fidelity National Title Escrow did not pay all the taxes as promised at close of escrow. One reason they stated is because the property is not in Clark County, so the tax bill is different - HUH???? Taxes are taxes. Their customer service SUCKS BIG TIME. I call, and they promise to call back. NO CALL! I email, no response to that either. Hey Fidelity, you are dealing with lots of money, and peoples dreams buying their home and you SUCK at your job. Why you guys still have a job is beyond me.

Terrible Title company, do not recommend Fidelity. No communication during the escrow amd closing process. Make sure you go through your paper work and check the CD carefully. This company likes to hold a lot of your money as a buffer. They tried to hold an additional $1800 of my clients money at her closings. Had to reschedule the closing due to the many errors in the docs.
