Worst Law firm ever! They do not care about their clients AT ALL!!! I sent them an email in Oct to set up a consultation. A representative came to my house with paperwork for my husband to sign. The next day we got a call saying he forgot to have him sign something and had to come back to our house. Already starting off great. After that NOTHING. On Feb 29 I sent them an email asking what was going on with the case. NOTHING. I gave the man who came to my house a form that they needed to fill out and mail to my insurance company. In March I received a letter from my insurance company asking if we were going to pursue a case, they never even mailed the form into my insurance company. I had to fill it out and mail it in. April 29 – Sent email wanting an update. July 6 – sent email. July 27 – sent email. Got a response saying that they were busy on another case and they would get back to me in a few weeks. Sept 1 – I sent an email because someone actually called me and got my voicemail. Tried to call back, left message then sent an email saying please either call me or send me an email letting me know is going on. Got an email on Sept 8 Say this lawyer would be in the office ALL DAY on the 9th and to call him . Both my husband and I called him and were told by the receptionist that she hadn’t seen him all day. We both left messages. NOTHING. Sept 22 – sent another email UPDATE. Got an email back to set up a conference call. Set up call for Sept 23rd Noon. Never called. Oct 6 – Sent email. What is going on here are my numbers. Oct 7th – here are the best times to call me, what is going on. Then I actually get a letter in the mail saying that they cannot get a hold of me and they are no longer going to be working on the case. WHAT A JOKE!.. Oct 24 – sent email telling them they were a joke…….like always NOTHING.

I have just recently completed a deed in lieu with representation from Cogburn Law Offices. The process took much longer than expected thanks to the stubborn bank that was not willing to even begin negotiations for the first couple of years. This process took a major toll on my expenses and emotions. There were many times when I just wanted to give up and accept foreclosure and a likely bankruptcy declaration.
