Run as fast as you can! This guy is worthless. He is not aggressive to help your case at all. Originally hired this person for an appeal. He missed the deadlines and ended the appellate process without notice. Found out by contacting the appeals court. Stated he would roll the fee into a Modification of Custody do to his incompetency. Should have went to the Board of Professional Responsibilities at this point. He drug my modification of custody case out for years and of course he sat on his worthless bump and did nothing to defend me in the courtroom while the opposing attorney lied through his teeth without any facts or evidence during the hearing. These people even cleared the courtroom to do their dirty work. Told my spouse to leave also. Good thing I have it all recorded. None of my witnesses were allowed to give testimony or my child and they were scheduled to testify. It was a set up. This guy changed offices and moved his practice to Kentucky and did not notify us. Never kept us to date on what was happening with the case. You had to call him he was above calling paying clients. He tells you not to show up for court because he was too busy cutting deals with the opposing attorney. Took my flat fee and did nothing. He is a perfect example that just because a person can pass the bar does not mean they need to be practice law. My God saw all of their evil doings. My God fights my battles so I am positive my God will handle this guy and evil agendas just like him accordingly.

Michael Thompson has by far been the best attorney that I have ever had the privilege of representing me. Mr. Thompson took the time care and consideration of gathering all information and readily available to his clients. Even if He was in court his secretary would set up a phone appointment within a 24 hr period to guarantee that his clients could speak to him and not passed over. Mr. Thompson goes above and beyond when most others brush you off. The compassion with which he serves his clients is immeasurable.
