My father passed away in 2012 and left a whole life policy to his grandkids. After much hassle and paperwork, we received checks from Allianz in 2013. All of the checks bounced when we tried to deposit them into USAA. I called again in November 2013 to ask for a reissued check for the ones that bounced, and they said they would jump right on it. Yesterday I called (no checks yet) and they said it had been mailed out Friday (1/17/13). This company gives me the impression it is a scam job. I am very concerned about the money my father left in their care, and will remain concerned until I get a check from them that clears.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, typical insurance company will look for anyway to not pay out after you make a claim. In our case, somebody smashed our rental car window while the car was parked. They are making a claim that the person who was insured was not a driver and therefore the insurance is void. The real question is, why does the matter when the car was PARKED. Do not get insurance through them, go through your rental car company directly and bypass this third party insurance company.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with, in the death of my parents. Unfortunately I cannot give them 0 stars. They made it 10 times harder to get money back that had been invested, despite all the paperwork being completed and submitted multiple times.
