I’ve been insured with Mike Bashore and State Farm for little over a year. I was introduced to Mike by a co-worker. Mike personally worked with me, going line by line through a new policy, to equip me with what was best for me and my family. For being one who has never filed a claim I figured insurance was just an afterthought – but that all recently changed. Unfortunately, I was forced to file two home owner’s claims in two weeks. One for roof damage which was caused by a storm and the other for flood damage caused by a separate storm 2 weeks later. After both events, Mike and his team treated me as I would hope to have been treated. I was lost, panicked, worried, and distraught. They put me at ease with their reassuring tones and guidance which allowed me to concentrate solely on the wellbeing of my family. Not only have Mike and his team made a process seem so seamless but they also do it in a way to make you feel comfortable in a time of panic. I may be the most critical person there is to individuals who perform a service. I don’t usually write reviews but the service I got from Mike Bashore State Farm went above and beyond my expectations. I have been a client with Mike Bashore for roughly 4 years. Both him and his staff were always courteous and helpful but thankfully I never had a claim. That all changed about a month ago when my car was rear-ended. I spoke with Mike personally after the accident and from start to finish he made the process easy to understand and completely stress free. After making sure my family was okay he called the claims department with me on the line. He was able to help make recommendations for a repair shop based on his experience (Action Collision was great!) versus whatever their computer spit out, he made reservations with the rental car company and checked in regularly with me on the progress to make sure everything was satisfactory. He was able to let me know what to expect at each stage so I was better prepared. Overall Mike Bashore State Farm took an incredibly aggravating situation and worked hard to make it as easy as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this agency to any and everyone who would listen!

Opened a policy the same day I financed a vehicle through state farm. Dealt with Chelsea who was friendly, but found out a year later she never put my policy under full coverage. Had called and dealt with Sam and Lisa, neither one had caught the mistake. Over a year later I added another vehicle and they wanted twice as much money for my financed vehicle, asked why and they said that was full coverage cost. I then asked why I paid less than that for the past year and their response was I never had full coverage. Very displeased , had other encounters with Lisa as far as address changes etc. that could not be done without having to call back at least three more times to straighten out. Jason and Mike knew what they were doing and were helpful before I dropped all policies with this agency, but the girls as friendly as they were, did not know what they were doing. Very disappointed.
