I, am Ann Young, a single mother who has not been able to work due to medical problems since October 2014. I have applied for SSI/Disibility, but have been denied, and now I am in the appeal process. I have been praying for someone to help me, and one day I called 211, and they told me about Debt helpers. I did not know about the Hardest hit fund, or that something, or someone would really help me and my children. With only $250.00 monthly income from child support. I did not know what to do. So I only called to see if I could get help with Bankrupcy, and I explained my situation to Nicola Butts Wimpel. She told me about the hardest hit fund, and that I may qualify for it. She was A God send and a blessing right from the first phone call. It was no accident that God put her on the line. I submitted my paper work, and I got the call today 9/22/2015. Working for a bankruptcy attorney, I have dealt with the customer service agents from many companies that offer the courses required to be taken by debtors before and after filing bankruptcy. We have received many solicitation offers from companies offering lower prices. Since our clients are facing financial hardship, we have passed the information on to them to use their services. Credit Card Management Services may charge a few dollars more than these bargain companies, but you truly get what you pay for in this instance. The customer service is far superior with Credit Card Management Services aka Debt Helper. Every person I have spoken with has been helpful and knowledgeable. In the rare instance that I need to speak with a supervisor for any reason, I go directly to Bill Sheehan and our needs are met within minutes. If you are filing bankruptcy, I strongly recommend using their services to obtain your certificates for pre-bankruptcy counseling and debtor education courses.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Nicola Butts Wimpel helped me through a very rough time in my life. Through the process (from September 2014 til June 30, 2015) of getting help from The Hardest Hit Fund. It was not an easy process, but she helped make it bearable. Through all the hard work and dedication we both persevered. This review is in regards to my qualifying and receiving the HHF-PR. During the process these lessons learned will hopefully alleviate any future occurrences from happening to potential customers. 1) Ensure that the customer and advisor have ALL of the information BEFORE the intake process begin. It took two weeks for them to tell me that my paperwork would not be processed because of HHF-PR Logo not visible on paperwork. 2) ONLY had one (1) day to close on HHF-PR paperwork. When it takes them way more time to process the paperwork. However, I am grateful in the end that it all work out. Also, closing agency was willing to go above and beyond for customer. 3) Advisor(s) need to work on courtesy and relation skills. Immediately becomes offensive when customer tries to explain their point- of-view of things. On the contrary, advisor(s) is/are professional.

For a long time I tried to modify my loan. This is why a turned to a realtor who promised me a modification in a short amount of time in exchange for $ 2,000.00. The realtor started the process but it took a very long time and I kept getting charged extra for his services. I did not get the job done with the realtor. After several unfruitful telephone call, I contacted Debthelper (Credit Card Management Services,Inc.). After shortly graduating from the university, I was faced with the hard reality of being able to pay off my credit card balances from the demands of a full time university student. When I first did my modification I was not approved by WellsFargo, and I decide to work with Francisco at debt helper and he was great, he instructed me on all the steps I need to take review my expenses and income and got my file ready for the bank. He was on top of all my calls and emails and every concerns I have, he took care of it. He was indeed a great source of help. Excellent service, I recommend debt helper services to anyone who needs to get a modification done. I was able to get my file approved in 2 weeks after they received all paperwork needed. My wife and I spent two stressful years trying to get our mortgage modification on our own with no success, then we went to one of their open houses and decided to use them, and in less than two months they got the bank to approve our modification and we are sure it would not have happened without their help and direct line to the bank! The counselor, Bill Messerschmidt, was warm, inviting and made the session very pleasant. He asked the questions he was required to and noted all responses. He then went through each part of the HECM program thoroughly, continually asking if I understood, and then followed that with a few questions he was required to ask to make sure of my understanding. He concluded the session by being very complimentary and letting me know that a certificate would be issued. He also gave me his phone number should I have any further questions. An excellent job!

My wife and I just had our Reverse Mortgage counseling and they were great! We had Barbara and she was very kind and patient, allowing us to ask any questions we needed. When we called, they immediately set us up with an appointment. when I asked if it was possible to be earlier, they put me on a list for cancellations. I found the FHA Counseling session to be both comfortable and complete. William (Bill) Messerschmidt was very courteous, thorough, and patient to help this old person work through and understand this confusing process. We finished the course on the weekend not realizing that we would only receive our certificate on the next business day. That presented a problem for us because we needed it first thing on Monday morning. I wrote an email explaining our predicament not really expecting to receive a response.
