I was involved in an accident while I was commuting home on my bicycle. A car ignored a red light and t-boned me at a busy intersection, leaving me injured and without a bike. I heard about Scott O’Sullivan after he came to my work to answer questions for our cycling group. I didn’t need his services at the time, but after this accident, I immediately thought to call his law firm and I’m glad that I did. I primarily worked with Melissa Hemmert and Sharon of the firm and they were very helpful throughout the entire process. I met with their team for the initial consultation and they gave me clear advice on how to handle my situation. Once this was complete, they took care of the rest. If I had questions, or just wanted a status update on my case, they were quick to answer my emails. The at-fault driver’s insurance company refused to budge on a settlement offer, but Melissa kept fighting for a fair settlement, and she got it for me. Scott was my attorney on a personal injury case and after years of waiting for the criminal side to finish, he stuck with me through the entire process. During the criminal proceedings he was always in constant contact with the DA to make sure the cases would not interfere with each other. He was always available to answer my questions and even once his part in the case was complete, he has always taken the time to talk to me when issues came up with the collection of the judgement that we were awarded. For the past 7 years he has been continually supportive through the process, helped keep me standing when the case would emotionally drain me and has always been a contact for any further issues with the judgement (long after his part in the case was completed).
