She Who Is_Free

While knowledge and experience of the law, as well as integrity, are of utmost importance to anyone facing a legal issue, there is another quality that is equally important. It is the quality of compassion. It is compassion that Robert Miller extended to me recently when I requested his support during a case in which I was a witness. Bottomline, whether one is facing charges or being called to testify as a witness, going to court can be a frightening experience. This anxiety can make one forget dates and facts or simply freeze on the witness stand -- all of which I was fearing that I would do. I contacted Robert for support. He did not hesitate. Within hours he was in the courtroom. Having known Robert for seven years and having been witness to his compassion toward others, including traveling countless times as a volunteer to help children at various orphanages in Mexico, I felt an immediate sense of comfort and groundedness when I saw him enter. His commanding presence gave me a sense of security that allowed me to testify without hesitation or doubts.
