College of the Redwoods has the potential to be an amazing school. The Nursing Department has a long way to go. I recently applied to LVN to RN bridge program which is supposed to be randomized. Yet, when you call and ask how this is accomplished they have no answers. The Nursing program is not designed for people of color to succeed. One would think with a shortage in Nurses in Humboldt county you would think the one school in the area could come up with a plan or idea to help this shortage. While I am grateful to CR. Our school has a very long way to go.

College of the redwood charger for everything and they not tell the student before adding classes. You supposed to drop before school start otherwise they charger you even if you didn’t go to class. Be careful they are thief.

I had a great experience going here. Overall I had good teachers and the price was really low compared to going to HSU. You can easily transfer to HSU from here so that was easy as well.
