The best tour we did during our Alaskan Vacation! You will want to bring your camera! We did the National Park Tour on 07/30/14. To be honest I was not looking forward to being on a boat for 8 1/2 hours before we left the port but the entire day was amazing. My husband and I did take motion sickness medicine prior to the tour, which I am glad I did. The water was a little rocky at times. I would recommend dressing in layers. It did get a little brisk especially by the glacier. We sat outside on the upper deck for most of the trip. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife we saw. In my option, he did a great job captivating our attention. We saw humpback whales, orcas, sea otters, puffins, sea lions, thousands of jellyfish and more. It was incredible to see these animals in their natural environment. The scenery along the way was breathtaking. I am so happy we did this tour.

If you have a love of sea life and Majestic scenery this is the place to go. Alaska has so much to offer and this is one of the best places that you can go as a tourist. There are so many examples of Wildlife and sea life around you all you have to do is look. On a recent trip we found whales porpoises and sea lions. Hundreds of species of birds were either flying around us or diving into the ocean to capture fish. We found taking one of the tour boats up to the calving glaciers was an amazing experience.

A great place to start before heading out on a tour of the National Park. Because the park is mostly if not only accessible by boat, the National Park Service has partnered with many of the tour companies in order to offer visitors a comprehensive visit of the park. The ranger at the Visitor Center was really pleasant and answered all of the questions I had. If there is one good reason to get taxed, it is this - the creation and preservation of our national treasure - Our National Parks.

Greenhouse effect! A sad picture. The devastation in the last decade in ancient ice reveals visitors the destructive potential of the greenhouse effect.

Wow. Really amazing if you have the time and ability to hike to the Harding Ice Field. Wish there were more places that were accessible, but I can understand how the glacier shrinking every year causes significant problems. Also wish there were more boat tour options available - maybe even a flight would be a better way to see the place.

Wow - no other word to describe it. The journey from Seward was absolutely stunning. Apart from the giant glaciers crashing down into the ocean, the wildlife was nothing like I have ever seen. We lost count of how many humpback whales we saw. There were also killer whales, fin whales, dolphins, harbor seals, bald eagles and puffins. Wow!!!!!

Breathtaking. Mountains, fjords, glaciers, amazing Alaskan wildlife. I think this is the most beautiful place on earth. On a boat tour, we saw humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, puffins and bald eagles. Even on a rainy, overcast day it was gorgeous - low clouds and mist created a primordial scene with one awesome view after another.

Kenai Fjords is a remarkable park. If you are traveling through Alaska, and you find yourself in Anchorage or Seward, with a couple of days to spare, it is most definitely worth the trip down the Seward Highway, through the Chugach National Forest to visit this majestic park, which is full of trails and kayaking opportunities.

25 whales, one bald eagle spooking an entire cliff of sea birds in front of us (hundreds of them flying above our boat), one black bear swimming across the Northwestern Fjord and then climbing up the cliff a few yards away from the boat, porpoises, puffins and glaciers. What else to say??!!

Amazing! Giant towering Exit Glacier is a beautiful relic of our past ice age. Useful visitor center and friendly rangers. Harding Ice Field Trail is one of the best hikes in Alaska! Strenuous hike, but worth every step. Also excellent public education about climate change.

Great place to visit for some scenic views and adventure hikes.. According to me Harding icefield hike next to exit glacier and a half day cruise in Seward are the best two things that you can do in Kenai Fjords..

A great place to look at the history of glaciation and to see and feel how warning climate has affected the size of glaciers and the geography around the glaciers. A picturesque and easily accessible opportunity.

This is perhaps my favorite national park to date. The trails are definitely worth their time. We explored the Harding Icefield Trail that varied greatly in terrain, which made the adventure even better!

Not very great camping and the only time that someone has gotten mad at me for doing the Junior Ranger program. I get it, the program was not designed for 30-year olds, but it says 12 and over!
