I have had an account with Tapco for most of my life. For most of that time I had found their rates and service to be uncontested, and because of that I stayed with them even after an inordinate amount of erroneous dealings. But I can no longer tolerate costly and inconvenient issues after moving on to better options. The employees have generally been informative, courteous, and helpful, with a few exceptions, and in that I have no complaints. But I have had hundreds of dollars go unaccounted for and outright vanish from accounts without record, on multiple occasions, without assistance; nothing was done by this institution to help me rectify the situation. To a less troubling degree, I have had persistent issues with their machine services. ATM and coin machines specifically have had a right rate of unreliability which has failed me during moments when it was absolutely imperative that I have access to them, at some times costing me greatly and other times being a burdensome inconvenience. Ultimately, losing track of the finances one has entrusted to them is an inexcusable offence of any financial institution, and the deciding factor for switching to another credit union and rating Tapco poorly. There are better credit unions to choose from, and I highly recommend anybody considering Tapco search for another option.

What a joke? Been with them for 15 years. Used my debit thru homedepot twice and they froze my account. Three times now. Tried to do the deposit check by phone, which is supposed to be faster. Still waiting for them to release funds. Been three days now... About fed up with this stuck up place.

I have been a TAPCO member since 1974. The staff at all branches are great to work with. I like having a VISA department right in my neighborhood. They have helped a few times when purchase issues have come up. I pay my credit card balance every month so the rates are not a problem.

My mother and I have been members for years. We love this credit union, and the online banking options. The customer service is wonderful. I enjoy going into the bank more than just running by an ATM because their employees are fantastic.
