I was in the process of building a pergola and needed a quote on the lumber (both cedar and pressure treated). Not only were the professionals at Smoot knowledgeable, but they also offered insightful and helpful suggestions. Their delivery was timely, and while there was a mix-up with some of the lattice, they made it right. This is a store that is geared toward the professional market, or at least consumers with some knowledge of the trade.

Cannot believe the lack of service. Absolutely no help. Two employees were eating lunch and I walked in and felt like I was bothering them. She told me to make an appointment -- I was the only customer there. Never will buy anything from them and I encourage nobody else to. I wouldnt even give it one star.

Smoot Lumber is like Home Depot Expo, except with nice stuff in a smaller space. For reference, the showroom hours are: Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm, Sat 7 am - 12 noon. Sun closed. The service there is really great too.
