My firm has been working with Merlin Cavallin and Xpress CPA for about three years. Initially, they (1) provided accounting of our income and expenses through Quickbooks by manually inputting all of our information, (2) administered our payroll through a large nationally known payroll service, and (3) prepared our personal and business tax returns. In that time, Merlin finally convinced this dinosaur to use Quickbooks online to track income and expenses. I now input all of our information....which saves us money and gives us more control over input. He introduced us to a wonderful online payroll company, Gusto (formerly Zen), which is super easy and very reliable....and which saved us money. He continues to prepare our tax returns and by helping us to change to an S corporation, guess what....he saved us money. If you are reading this to find a good CPA, try Merlin and his friendly staff at Xpress CPA!

The relationship between a business owner and his CPA never conjures up warm, fuzzy feelings.
