One of my favorite hotels. Very clean, modern, cozy decor with very comfortable beds, down comforters and a mix of synthetic and feather pillows. Friendly staff, and in room breakfast. Light blocking curtains that really darken the room. The shampoo and conditioner provided left my hair super soft and shiny and they even have shower gel so no dry soap residue skin. So much nicer than the Hampton next door and they have great corporate rates. Downsides are coffee makers are on the bathroom sink (ewwww) shower curtains are plastic (most hotels have gone to washable cloth curtain liners) and they need to talk to their laundry rep about adding some fabric softener or a different drying methods for their towels. Very rough. Some complimentary bottled water would be a nice touch. The tap water anywhere near VA Beach tastes like a swimming pool.

The the front staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was not so pleasant. When we walked into the room there was evidence a bachelorette party had taken place the night before. We had a king sized suite, and scattered all over the floor were tiny little shiny penis confetti. If the room was vacuumed the majority was have come up. The bathroom also had the little shiny penis confetti and broken nails on the bathroom floor. I am extremely disappointed that the cleaning staff could clean the room properly especially when children have been there. The hotel gave us a 1pm late checkout and a small credit toward lunch but nothing was worth getting to eat

I loved this hotel! The rooms was spacious, beds were comfortable, and it was clean. The tv gives you a variety of options for your entertainment. The hotel has two restaurants. I ate at the 725 Bistro each morning of my stay, they offer a simple menu or buffet style dining. I ordered from their menu my food was delicious. All of the staff, that I encountered were pleasant and helpful. The pool is small it is 3-5ft, but it looks very clean. This is a nonsmoking facility which is another plus for me!! If hearing children run down the hallway would bother you entering or leaving your room then please stay on the highest floor.

Location was perfect. First my room had a broken a/c. Second the room was not clean. Found trash in the bathroom and under the bed. The tile in the bath room was chipped. The shower curtain was stained. Third, Breakfeast is served at 0630, which is half an hour later then most. Fourth, there is no guest laundry. Fifth, the refrigerator supplied smelled awful and it barely keeps anything cold. I see they are renovating but the room being dirty is unacceptable.

A great room and the breakfast the next morning was very good. We really liked it. The only issue was the big party they had at the hotel the night before. Many people smoking right by the front doors. They really need to move the smoking area away from the front doors. You had walk right through a cloud of smoke. The rooms and food was top notch not just fix the walk into lobby and you will have a great place.

Checked in and staff was very friendly and rooms were quite big and nice..loved the fancy updated restroom. Would stay here again. Updated 10-16-16 stephen is a great customer service person. Had some issues which he handled very quickly. He is a go getter. ...stephen is definitely the type of person you need for your business...too bad im based out of texas...otherwise id love to have him working for me.

I attended a work event at the hotel and I have no complaints regarding my few hours there. The coffee provided by the establishment was standard though we quickly ran out of cream and sugar. The group I was with was fairly large so we quickly ran out of everything actually. The hotel did replenish the items about half way through our time there, and the staff member that did so was quick and inconspicuous

Real nice hotel, very clean. Service is great, friendly staff. Walls are a bit thin, and noise is an issue. Especially on a Saturday night with a big party going on. Seems like they could use another couple elevators, only having two causes a lot of waiting to get to upper floors. Refrigerator in room is really nice. Each floor shares a microwave near ice machine. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with great staff. The rooms are clean and nicely maintained. I had a very good omelette for breakfast there. Not five stars because my room on the 2nd floor had no view (overlooked the air conditioning units). I could have asked for another room but was only staying 2 nights. Overall good experience and would recommend, like most Marriott locations.

The hotel itself is very high end with great amenities. The bed, while not a luxurious soft bed, is a high quality firm bead. The shower did not reach much more than luke warm temperature, but had nice fixtures. The towels do everything asked of them but are pretty standard. Overall it is an amazing stay, but could be the best stay with minor fixes.

We stayed at Marriott Chesapeake to take advantage of a special group rate offered to couples attending the "Weekend to Remember" Christian marriage conference at the nearby Founders Inn. Hotel experience was top-notch; conference was absolutely amazing! Google "Family Life Weekend to Remember" to see where and when the next conference will be held!

There were several issues with my stay. Slower than acceptable elevators, no hot water in the shower (even though the water in the sink was hot) and towels had to be brought 2hrs after housekeeping cleaned the room. The building seems to be in need of some attention. The staff were extra friendly, if only they had a better building to work with.

Beautiful accommodations and efficient, friendly customer service! Our family enjoyed the pool and a delicious breakfast at 725 BISTRO. Heather, our waitress, was attentive and very personable. We are local to this area and love the convenience of short get-aways like this! Thanks so much for the beautiful memories.

Very nice hotel. Rooms look like they have been recently remodeled and the staff is very very nice and friendly. Great location near highway and lots of restaurants. Good workout room. The concerige lounge was a little lacking on breakfast varieties but definitely would stay here again.

Went to the new Delta hotel in Chesapeake for a conference/meeting. A nice breakfast was served including eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, and fruit. Not sure if the eggs were real or from a box. Facility was nice and adequately served our needs. Would consider Delta for out of town guests.

There are some changes associated with the hotel changing to Delta that were not clearly communicated. They also have a bad ant problem in the dining area. An ant was even found in a salt shaker...AFTER it was used. Decor is outdated and worn, could use remodeling.

I traveled for the first time alone during the beginning of May 2017 and I felt so safe at this hotel. It was clean and everyone at the front desk was very nice. I really enjoyed my experience and when I return to this area this will be my hotel of choice.

I really enjoyed my stay. the food, drinks, and pool were great. my only complaint is my room floor somehow became wet and their solution was a lil black machine that blew air. the floor took a few days to dry leaving the room smelling like wet carpet

Very clean, modern lobby and super-friendly staff at the front desk. The bar area looked inviting. Guest room was average size, furnishing and decor looking little dated but all functional and no complaints regarding its use throughout our stay.

We stayed here during the Tidewater Comicon. This Hotel is Very Clean and the staff are Extremely Professional. The food was excellent at their restaurant located near the main lobby. I am very impressed and will definitely visit again.

Nice hotel. Incredibly spacious rooms. While recently updated, the hotel was recently acquired by Marriott, and the hotel is being given a facelift. Once construction completes, it will get a 5-star rating. I look forward to returning.

This hotel was pretty nice. The room was basic but clean. The staff was exceptionally nice. There was no microwave in the room but there was one for each floor. We were at a family reunion in the banquet room we used was nice.

Very nice hotel. Staff has been excellent minus the dining staff. Most dining staff is fine and courteous but the few that cannot get your order right kind of leave a sour taste. Hotel is being remodeled.

Room was OK. There were a lot of stains in the carpet, shower was dirty. Very thin walls made it hard to sleep with being able to hear every word of people in the hallway all throughout the night.

Nice rooms overall however if you plan to stay for a while the refrigerator is very small leaving little room to store food or drinks.
