This is the WORST hospital you could possible take a loved one to. No one seeking medical attention should have to wait for over 5 hours in an ER to get help, but that is exactly what my loved one had to endure. The administrator of this hospital has failed on all levels and exemplifies arrogance and ignorance. As you can see from reviews on this web site and word around the community of Weatherford this is a poorly ran facility with failed leadership. If the administrator had any measure of good character, there should be resignation(S) and an opportunity to bring legitimate administration that can turn things around. Even some of the medical staff acknowledges the horrible service here. This is a tragedy that your medical facility in such a beautiful growing community such a Weatherford is set in the dark ages . You have the finest restaurants, the finest stores, the finest churches, the finest people, but yet one the most critical, most important parts of Weatherford...your hospital is poorly ran. It is time to clean out the egos and get rid of the human cob webs and make positive changes so that no more people will suffer under this failed leadership.

I went to the ER because I had a terrible fall landing on my left hip. A x-ray was done and I was told that my hip was not fractured. The PA that ordered the x-ray never assessed my hip by manipulation. The ER nurse thay discharged me watched me as I was clutching my left leg yelling in pain and stating that I could not put weight on it. 4 days later I went to another doctor appointment that I had with an anesthesiologist he manipulated my leg and told me that I probably fractured my hip. Following his instruction I requested that my neurologist order an MRI when I had an appointment with him. I did get the MRI done at this same hospital. The results of the MRI show a fracture of the left femur. The ER has orthopedic sugeons on call. The ER doctor could easily order an MRI for the signs and symptoms that I had and this was not done. I am not going to accept this neglect from medical staff.

This Hospital emergency room staff should be replaced. I brought my spouse in for extreme abdominal pain. They took 3 tubes of blood, a urine sample (brown in color) and then the wait began.They did start an IV stating she was dehydrated. I did not see the doctor touch her , except to listen to her lungs. He left and we waited some more. When he came back he stated she had gastro-enteritis! He released her and we went home. My spouse was still in extreme pain. The next morning after I spoke to a friend we went to a different hospital they performed the same lab test and a ct scan. The diagnosis was completely different, acute cholecystis.They started Intravenous antibiotics and scheduled her for surgery the next day. If I had listened to Weatherford Regional hospital my wife would be dead today instead of being home recuperating. If I could rate this hospital in the negative I would.

We moved to Weatherford from Englewood, Colorado and were accustomed to good medical care. We have recently had two experiences at Weatherford Medical Center. My Father had surgery there and my Mother an ER visit. Dr.Zambrano (sp?) in the ER was just wonderful! I also highly recommend surgeon Dr. Andrew Walker. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the level of care and the friendliness of the staff. I originally thought we would travel to Fort Worth for hospital care but we are so impressed and confident with this hospital that we no longer feel the need to do so. Keep up the great work!!

The worst hospital, my aunt went to have test for cancer. The doctor stated to my aunt all she has was a chemical imbalance and heart problems. The doctor sent her home with heart medicine and told her she would be better in a week so. My aunt died after two week. She was rushed to a hospital in fort worth after having a stroke and then the doctors telling us that she did have cancer and has it for a while.

This was by far the best ER experience ever. With six children, that is saying alot! We barely were in the door before being ushered into a room. Immediately there were 4 staff members and a doctor in the room with us. From admission to treatment to discharge in less than one hour, on a holiday weekend. Thank you so much David Chavez and the rest of the team at Weatherford Regional!!!

This place is the worst and charge entirely too much. Got a shoulder x-ray and received a bill for $900. They took 2 shots on this. A month later had a rib that felt broke again had 2 or three shots taken on x-ray another +700 dollar bill I would not recommend getting any type of x-rays done at this place or its affiliated sites. Go somewhere else if you need to get x-rays

Dr. David Chavez in the ER was AWESOME. I brought my son in with a baseball injury requiring stitches. Dr. Chavez was thorough, kind, funny, patient, detailed, and did a great job on cleaning/stitching up the wound. The other staff we encountered at the hospital were wonderful too. Special thanks to Robin (charge nurse too). Thank you everyone!

Thank you to the nurses on 3rd floor..I have always used this hospital and never had a problem.My stay there was great and now because they found my prob and worked together my levels are high and normal now first time in my life..The doctors and nurses are a great team and I thank them.

I was very impressed with the entire staff from the doctors to the nurses to the receptionists. Everyone was extremely nice, friendly and most importantly helpful every aspect of the way. Not to mention the hospital was very clean. It was overall a wonderful experience.

My husband was brought into the hospital with an ambulance from severe neck pain. And we are still waiting, almost an hour and a half later for doc to show, and the er has no one here, maybe one or two other patients. This is b.s. worst ER ever
