Refuse their "CHOICE PAY" service! It is pretty much a scam that starts 30 days after opening an account, even if you set your parameters to forbid negative balance and lock your card when the account reaches zero. I opened my first US bank account at this Credit Union. I read my contract and asked about overdraft fees, I told them I have other bank accounts and will never need to go overdraft with them, consequently we agreed to lock my debit card if my balance reaches zero and to forbid negative balance (avoiding overdraft fees). One month after opening my account, MCCU unilaterally modified the lower limit from zero to negative 600 ! They sent me a letter saying this was available and it was a great offer and a privilege etc... I was not interested so I did not opt in. Actually it was not an offer to opt in but a notification and the changed was made without my approval! I ended up going overdraft, unaware that the limit was modified. They charged me several overdraft fees (28 dollars each) and refused to recognized that changing my lower without my approval was bad practice. I thought they were friendly and available, and they probably are nice people but now that I know how they change the settings of your account without your approval: I will never trust them again.

I like to say that my visit to the credit union was GREAT! My initial visit was with Mrs. Flo who was quite pleasant! She informed me about NO FEES for personal banking as well as the many services offered for business banking. After hearing about the products/services, I felt very assured and confident that this is the right banking choice for my small business. I immediately open my account with her.

Just moved from the UK and needed help to finance a car, Harry Satia was my loan officer and talked me through everything. He was patient with me not knowing the American system or the process at all. I got the money needed for my new car at an interest rate that I feel is very good for someone with no US credit history. Worse experinse sold the car run me around for two days now telling me take another week to get my check never saw anything like that Customer has a car + title already transfer but take them one week to make sure title transfer is legit when i send them the Dnv paper work said title transferred and paid for it
