It is with pride and the most profound sense of gratitude that we are eager to write this review of our experience with Mr. DeMott and his professional, caring, and compassionate staff: Tanya, Kimberly, and his lovely wife Rita. We feel its not only our desire, but our obligation to give credit where credit is due. We met a couple of other attorneys before we stumbled upon his web site. Our free interviews with them where rushed, uninformative, and frankly, we got the sense that they were more interested to talk about their fees and themselves rather than their concern for our predicament. Thankfully, we called Mr. DeMott’s office in Summerville, which is about two hours away from where we live in Myrtle Beach. We spoke with Tanya, who was excellent, and set up a Skype interview for our convenience with Mr. DeMott, from which we walked away confident that he was the attorney we were searching for . His calm demeanor, experience, and kind, gentle nature came through his words and spoke directly to our hearts. At this point we were ready to hire him, but he invited us to a face to face interview and still without any obligation on our part. When we finally met him in person, all our feelings about him were confirmed and strengthened even more. Being self employed, our case was difficult and required a lot paper work on our part. At times we almost lost our sanity and spent many sleepless nights wondering if we could survive through all of that. Mr. DeMott, however, never lost confidence in us nor have we ever felt that he left our side through the end of our case. Mr. DeMott told us that he will never, as long as he lived, forget us and that may be true, but we certainly will never forget him. We owe him our lives and he will always be remembered with fondness for as long as we shall live. We only wish that we could give him more that five stars because he deserve far more.

Do NOT look anywhere else! My wife and I were struggling financially and considered bankruptcy as an option. We met with Mr. Demott, and he quickly made us feel at ease about our situation. We no longer felt embarrassed, hesitant, or fearful about bankruptcy. His calm manner and extensive knowledge left us feeling confident that we made the right choice. As we gathered the required documentation, several questions ensued. Responses to questions were provided extremely quickly to any question we had during the entire process (sometimes even at 11 o’clock at night). His staff is very pleasant to be around and work with. Tonya and Rita both helped immeasurably during our process. We even stayed a couple hours over our appointment one time because Mr. Demott cared enough to iron out a few kinks with our case so there would be no surprises during our hearing. He kept us fully aware at every stage what would/could happen. Every question, no matter how trivial, was answered fully and without judgment. At our hearing, we walked in confident and calm. Even after our discharge, Mr. Demott continued to provide support to us with a small request we had. Mr. Demott and his staff have helped repair our unpleasant financial situation, and our future looks brighter now because of them. As I said, do NOT look anywhere else!

I am a widow, who has lost her home to foreclosure, with harrassment and several other attempts by Fannie Mae at a new foreclosure requesting a deficiency judgement. In brief, my case was a very complicated situation.
