A property inspection conducted in connection with the sale of my home, revealed moisture related problems in the crawlspace, which had to be corrected before the closing on the sale of the house could take place. Repairs had to be done quickly as the contract closing date was quickly approaching. I received quotes from several local contractors and CNT Foundations offered the most reasonable price and was, by far, the most responsive to my need for quick service. I received an estimate within 24 hours of calling the company and was able to get the repair work scheduled the following week. CMU piers and a pressure-treated drop sill were installed to correct a sag in the living room floor. The vapor barrier in the entire crawl space was also replaced. Originally, the repair work was estimated to take 3-4 days, but the repair specialist (Matt) and his crew were able to complete all of the necessary repairs in just one day, recognizing the time-sensitive timeframe I had to get the repairs completed in. I was extremely happy with the work completed, and especially the great service that CNT provided. CNT Foundations is definitely a company of integrity and provides excellent quality and attention to detail. They also left the work site clean.

CNT foundations were scheduled to arrive at my house around 9am, they did not attempt to contact me and let me know they were running behind and wouldn’t make it out until 12:30. The estimator who came out weeks prior told me that the company used galvanized materials, however when the crew arrived on site, none of the materials were galvanized. I proceeded to contact the office and spoke directly with the Job Foreman, after I explained my issues he then called me a liar. The foreman said that the estimator would never have told me about the types of materials used. I explained to him that on the warranty paper work given to me by the estimator and on their companies’ website it states CNT uses “Hot Dipped Galvanized Piles” This is all completely untrue. I was told that the materials on the truck were the materials that would be used for my job. CNT did not try to rectify the situation in any way, except to tell me how I was misinformed and my job was too small for them to make special arrangements or special materials. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ed from CNT came out to do an inspection of our crawl space for foundation, moisture barrier issues and mold issues resulting from the flood. Ed was knowledgeable and courteous and spent a lot of time explaining what he found and how to prioritize and fix the issues. Impressed by his professionalism, we moved forward with the work. Sean and his team did an excellent job; finished on time and kept us in the loop through the entire process. We could not be happier with their workmanship, honesty and integrity. CNT came up with an ingenious way to help me save a large Cypress tree in my yard that had twisted after Hurricane Matthew by installing helical piers that were used as anchors to tie down straps to hold the tree in place. They were on-time, professional, and cleaned up after the job. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent company! Very detailed plan for correcting rotted floor joist, adding more concrete piers for support and spraying for mold control. Great advise for replacing foundation vents to aid in air circulation to prevent further problems. Excellent employees, very hard workers!

I was assured that the repair that CNT performed would satisfy Real Estate home inspections. It did not. After spending $3800 the home inspector said that it was not the proper repair for the situation. Had to hire another contractor to do it properly.Thousands $ more money.
