Hello. I was modeling, doing some little jobs here and there, and also was signed with a talent agency before I met Wilhelmina. Wilhelmina found me, contacted me, and asked if i wanted to be apart of their agency. I, of coarse, said yes. I knew how huge and high ranking Wilhelmina is, and it is an honor to be able to say i am a Wilhelmina model. I am a fashion/development model. Ever since I started, the bookers and the team were so true to making sure all the models, actors, etc. received the most experience they could receive. They are very welcoming and want everyone to succeed. The runway class/training is very helpful to all models because it gives them time to interact with other models, and make friends. Also, the runway trainer helps you improve on your walk, so when the model is ready to go out for a job, they will have a great and confident walk.I was so excited to start modeling with this company. I live in Southern Maryland, and make all the effort to travel to any job that comes my way. I love modeling, and it has always been in my vision for quite some time. I would love for my modeling career to keep progressing into bigger things and opportunities. I have received many jobs throughout the time I have been apart of Wilhelmina. I have been apart of trade shoots, commercials, online websites, books, castings, clothing catalogs, etc. Being apart of this team is an amazing journey.I cant wait to see what else the future hold with Wilhelmina, and I will stay with them for as long as I can.:)

My twins are signed with Wilhelmina Philadelphia. My son signed first and after taking the actors workshops with Aaron Marcus, we decided to sign my daughter as well. Neither had any modeling or acting experience. It has been about a year now, and we have learned so much about the industry and how much work and effort is put in by Wilhelmina and how much is necessary from the talent. We recently went on the GSN cruise, and were blown away by the entire experience. The workshops you attend prior for runway & acting helped my children improve tremendously. Charles and Dave were amazing and went above and beyond to give everyone the help & training they needed. The actual competition was a great experience as well for my children. The managers, casting directors, and agents judging are all well established and respected professionals in the industry. My children were given the incredible opportunity to meet with with managers/directors/agents from all over the country through callbacks. I have been signed with Wilhelmina Philadelphia for just about a year now. I had no previous modeling or acting experience and Wilhelmina has opened my eyes to show my potential. Like many people I was skeptical when joining however as I am learning, it takes a lot of work to break into the industry. Wilhelmina Philadelphia is one of the few agencies that helps develop their talent and like anything; you can’t expect anyone to invest in you if you don’t invest in yourself. There are thousands of actors and models hoping and praying for their big break but it will never come if you don’t work hard for it. I also attended the GSN Cruise this past season and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’ve been signed to Wilhelmina Philadelphia since 2014 with no prior modeling and acting experience. I attended the commercial acting classes with Aaron Marcus as the instructor and learned an enormous amount of information, not only about the techniques of acting, but also about the business. Soon afterwards, I was selected to participate in the Global Stars Network Convention where the agency provided classes to prepare contestants for the event. Thanks to the runway and acting classes, taught by Charles Hardy and David Polgar, there was a huge improvement from when we started to when we performed at GSN. Also, the level of support from the Wilhelmina staff and the patience they have answering the never-ending questions about any and everything shows their willingness to help you become successful. Thanks to them and the exposure at GSN I now have opportunities to work with other agencies and casting directors I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Thank you Willy Philly!

During my time with Wilhelmina I have learned a lot about what it takes to succeed in both the modeling and acting industry. As a singer, I had no clue what to expect about modeling and acting. With the help from the staff here, and always answering my 20 thousand questions I may have, I could not ask for anything better. I recently tried out for this thing called GSN where you get the opportunity to meet with many different casting directors from all over the entertainment industry to help expand your network, and get an opportunity to get more exposure for my career. I know if I did not have the training provided from Aaron Marcus, and Wilhelmina own acting coach Dave Polgar, I know I would have not been prepared for this journey. I am an actor/ commercial model at Wilhelmina Philadelphia and I singed with them in October of 2012. I was very new to this world, but I wanted to be apart of it badly. I had no idea where to begin but I knew I had to start somewhere. I attended one of their open calls, I was super nervous, but once I took the stage, I realized that they were my biggest fans. I was very green to the world of acting and modeling but I was willing to work hard and learn. The team at Wilhelmina is amazing, they are always one phone call away and I have learned so much. I would also like to say how pleased I am to work with such amazing bookers, Will Ball and Kellie Taylor. I would also like to say how helpful the billing department is... Charles!! I absolutely loved working with Wilhelmina Philadelphia! They are such a pleasure! My experience with them was nothing less then extraordinary. We wouldnt have had a Senior Show with out them! I worked with Kel when I was put in charge of booking Models for the Moore College of Art Fashion Show and they were AMAZING!!! They were so accommodating and always got back to me right away. They models were so professional and respectful. They all came fully prepared to the audition, fittings and the show! We worked with 4 agencies and Wilhelmina was HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Wilhelmina Philadelphia is a wonderful agency that has given me many opportunities in the modeling and fashion industry.I was signed with Wilhelmina Philadelphia for two years and received a lot of work. I booked photo shoots three or four times a week and shot two national add campaigns.My booker negotiated such great rates of pay I was able to peruse modeling full time! After that I was then granted an opportunity to meet with Wilhelmina agents from the New York, LA and Miami offices.This agency is great for developing individuals who are beginners and is extremely helpful to building strong portfolios, resumes , head shots and other materials I needed to become a strong successful model.

They give you all the tools you need to be successful in the industry (photo moment classes, different levels for runway classes, and explain how the industry works and how you should present yourself to each go see).
