Paul Billue

So I decided to do the grown up thing and purchase my first home at the age of 50 in 2017. The first contact I had was with the receptionist Chelsea, extremely adorable and charming young lady. I then spoke to Nick who ran my credit and told me what I needed to do to get my debt to income ratio balanced as well as what to do to get my credit score up. This was accomplished in a couple of months. I re-contacted Justice Sharps team at NFM and began to work with Billy Hollis. Mr. Hollis re checked my credit score and advised there was a few more things that needed attention. Finally got those taken care of and the search for a home was on. Billy was with me at every step of the way,explaining in detail and plain English. I must have bugged this poor guy at least sometimes 4 times a day with concerns or random questions that popped into my head. (maybe a little ADD). Billy at no time acted like I was a pain or bothering him. His customer service and assistance is paramount. His dedication to his clients and customers are unbelievable, he made me feel like I was talking to a friend and I was their only client. So now we are at the final stages before closing. The appraisal .. Well as my luck goes, I sent all paperwork over to cover the cost of the appraisal by credit card . I received notification that the appraisal was ordered. Went to check my credit card statement to see if the transaction was applied to my credit card , Mind you this card was dedicated to this process of the appraisal . I noticed there were several things that my card was used for in Texas, New York and other places I have only seen on a map. I contacted the credit card company and they advised all the transaction took place on the first of the month on the same day. This was 2 days before I had faxed my information to NFM for the appraisal. I notified Billy and explained what happen, he stated, " Let me see what we can do." Resubmitted another form with a different card number and all. Needless to say I was worried this would look bad to underwriting , and lets face it they are the ones that hold all the cards . Billy called me back the next day and said, " I spoke to the branch manager and its taken care of we will not be charging your card at this point we will continue forward to closing." I was in complete shock. I was speechless . They honestly know what customer service is, and are actually there for me. I cannot give this company enough praise for what they have done to make this home buying experience as smooth as it could go. Thank you, Justice Sharp (such a cool name), Chelsea, Nick and last but not least Billy. You guys are fantastic. Paul Billue

As a first time home buyer with a small-town upbringing, I was grateful to have been referred to Justus, who walked me through the process every step of the way and gave me the individualized attention that I needed (small-town service in a big city). The poor experience I had with the mortgage lender at my personal banking institute made me very skeptical that I could find someone trustworthy in this industry, but Justus proved me wrong. He did a wonderful job at presenting me with all my lending options and explaining the financial pros and cons of each. He did not persuade me toward any one option and did not try to convince me to make any unsound financial decisions (like my bank did).
