We had only been customers of Summit Insurance for less than a year when our new construction house burned to the ground in the middle of the night. Rob and Lisa were on the scene only hours later, and with their help, 100% of our claim was paid within only 2-3 weeks. We were told that these insurance investigations can take months and that we would have to fight to get our money back....not with Summit on our side! Less than a year later we have rebuilt and are happily settled in our new home. Rob and Lisa continued to fight for us to get the best homeowner rate (not easy after such a large claim), and we have switched our auto policies over to Summit as well. Also big thanks to Hillary who has been wonderful - excellent customer service!

We recently moved to North Carolina and were looking for an insurance agent. We had used Erie Insurance in the past and called Summit because they are a provider for Erie Insurance. We worked with Lyndsey and she has been amazing. She helped us to get homeowners insurance along with insurance on multiple vehicles, a boat and an rv. She took the time to sit down and explain all of the different polices and "extras" that were available to us and helped pick the right policies for us. The service did not end when the policy was written, she has always been one phone call away and never hesitates to answer any questions we may have or get additional information out to us.

We had Travelers Insurance (both homeowners and auto) through Summit Insurance Group for 13 years. Went to sell our home and the inspector found a leak under our shower pan that had tile over it. We filed our first claim in 13 years and were told that we should have notified them within 10 days of the start of the leak. Our shower had tile over it and we did not crawl under our house every 10 days to check for leaks. Buyer beware!!!!

If you need insurance you need to check out Summit. I was helped by Pam McGrath and she was knowledgeable, efficient and as sweet as can be! I was extremely stressed over my auto insurance situation and Pam went through my whole driving history and worked hard to find every opportunity for savings. Poor service! Been a customer for several years, got a Cancellation Notice only ONE month behind. Never been late on a payment. Check over your policy again, I seen on the reverse side of the policy they,be been deducting payments for a rental vehicle, which know I did"not order having two vehicles. I just cancelled both Home and Auto Policies. :(
