I have been to the AAA Car Care Maintenance and Repair Center on South Blvd twice and both times I have been impressed with their service. The woman at the front desk is extremely friendly, nice, and helpful. She got me scheduled quickly for a walk-in oil change for my Toyota. Sometimes, you get "Why did you walk-in without an appointment?" treatment, but that was NOT the case on this Saturday morning. Because of the pleasant experience I had the first visit, we decided to return. At our dealership, we were told we had an oil leak in our vehicle and that the quote to repair it would be almost $1,700. The car was still drivable, thank goodness, so We decided to get 2nd opinions and AAA on South Blvd, was the place we went for that 2nd opinion. I called to set up an appointment and the call center set me right up. I asked up front if the 2nd opinion check would cost anything and they said no. However, when I got to the AAA, to check the oil leak did end up costing us. Sam Freij, Car Care Manager, stepped in and explained that the cost would be very minimal because in order to check for an oil leak, they would need to run a special dye through the oil to see if their was indeed a leak. His explanation made us feel comfortable in paying the small $35 to diagnosis the problem. We ran the dye through on Thurs and returned on a Monday after weekend driving. AAA checked the car and they found no leak. In fact, they took me back to the repair area, opened the hood, turned on the car, and physically showed me that they was no visible leak. They also showed me areas where my car was still in great condition. They reccommended no repair at the moment, but said if we began to see oil in the driveway, then that would defn be a leak. We were relieved that we didnt have to make that major repair. Staff and managers seem to be running that center well. We will return for their services when needed. And its nice to have a car maintanance center close in our neighborhood.

Our vehicle was brought in due to an issue that the dealership should have caught. The wheel almost popped off while driving because the lug nuts snapped off! We had the work done and asked them to hold onto the broken piece so that we could go back to the dealership. They also reviewed the entire vehicle and stated we needed new brake pads and rotors along with other things. We approved the work and asked them to lock the keys in the car in the parking lot for after hour pickup. Two days later we were able to pick it up. 1: the car was UNLOCKED in the parking lot with the keys in the car! 2: they did not leave the broken piece in the car as we asked so we cannot go back to the dealer to show the damage 3: they only replaced 2 of the rotors and shaved down the other two 4: they only replaced TWO break pads! You need to replace all four when you fix rotors, everyone knows this! When we questioned them about the issues they stated they were helping us stay under budget.... then how did the initial quote include all new materials and all 4 break pads? Any yet it came out $150 more for less!?! Do not go here. The people are nice, but the work is poor.

the reason why i went to AAA here is because of the coupon in got in the mail, but from a previous review i had some worries. These worries seemed to come true at first due to the timely manner my car got pulled in, but i left their parking lot content. i had scheduled an appointment for 8am on a weekday for an oil change and state inspection and showed up at 7.50. I was quoted about an hour wait and the staff was friendly. I did become concerned because i needed to head to work after i was done here and they only pulled my car in at about 8.40 so getting both services done on time here seemed a bit hard to accomplish. at 9.15 i was pulling out of the parking lot with the things done that they promised. unfortunately they did not provide the value-added services others provide, like vacuuming etc, but i did leave happy knowing i god done what i came for, no gimmicks.

I have had nothing but excellent service and experience with this location. I have been taking my cars to them for close to 10 years. First at the old South Boulevard location and most recently at their new South Boulevard location. They always provide great service, reasonable prices, and most importantly, are trustworthy. I never feel as if they are taking advantage of me by recommending to fix or replace parts that are not broken. Moreover, Sam, the Manager, is great at explaining what work needs to be done. He is kind and professional and is always looking for ways to fix my cars as needed, while still getting it done at the lowest cost possible. I would recommend Sam and his team to anyone who wants to find a professional and trustworthy place for auto repairs.

I needed to get a passport photo for my infant daughter. I arrived one evening right after close, but the woman said that she would stay open because my daughter was so cute. Unfortunately, my daughter was tired and uncooperative, so we agreed to try again the next day. When I arrived, it was clear that everybody was expecting us, and the whole team chipped in to help us get a good picture, which was no easy task! Everybody was so sweet and helpful. The AAA Vacations person even pulled up some information to help us for our trip. I was blown away by the service, and I will definitely come back!

WORST PLACE in CHARLOTTE DONT GO HERE...Overcharged and terrible, they dont fix the problem the first time and to top it off the guys STEVE was a complete DONKEY... They fixed a window a month ago-it didnt fix the problem, when i took it back they would not look at it because it told them of another problem i was having with my tires. The guy said hey you have after market rims I wont touch your car. STEVE learn how to deal with people and their car trouble if you plan to stay employed....

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Chris one of the managers was awesome. Let me tell you why. #1 Showed him a repair sheet from another shop, he matched their prices. #2 He explained the repairs to me in a language I could understand. #3 Said they would look over the car to make sure that those repairs needed to be done. #4 Called and told me what was needed and what was not. #5 SAVED ME MONEY!!!!! We will be back for other repairs. Thus far...fair and honest. THANKS CHRIS!!!

This place is Awesome! They kept me informed of any new expenses as they worked to fix my car. They provided me with choices to keep the cost low as possible. They promised my car on a certain day and worked late to honor that promise! A place I could put my trust in for all my car needs. It is so great to find a place that a woman can trust for car repairs! The staff were knowledgeable and considerate...and the repairs even come with a warranty!

Had to talk to 3 different reps when I ran out of gas, after being disconnected with the first (the first after 15mins and the second after 30.) The third person was able to find me after about 15 and quoted me 45mins. After an hour on the phone it was a minimum of 45 more for help, I just decided to walk to the nearest gas station and take my chances.

On the road, flat tire service was great, especially in a down pour...friendly service...it took a couple of hours but had to replace two tires...dog friendly with treats. We just made it our dinner stop!
