I recently used Lighthouse mortgage to refinance 2 loans (primary residence and investment property). I have a few properties and have been through several finance and refinance transactions. I feel very fortunate to have used lighthouse for my 2 recent financing. In my view everything was done perfect: Jeff (owner) took the time to analyze my financial profile and what I was trying to achieve and gave me his advice. He then secured 2 loans for me at very low rates which exceeded my expectations. Once the process began, he did all the work and kept me up-to-date with the progress. One of the best parts was that he always responded to my email questions within a maximum of an hour or two. He almost always accepted my calls and again responded clearly and accurately to any questions that I had. The 2 refinancing transactions were a bit complex and I expected some issues or glitches at the closing. Once again, Jeff had done such a great job in taking care of all issues in advance that the closing proceeded without any problems. He is truly an expert in his field which combined with his personality and customer service mentality makes him a truly fantastic mortgage broker. I am planning to purchase a new house and I would not even think about using any other mortgage broker or deal with a bank directly. He is really really good and would recommend him to my family, friends and anyone who is looking for a mortgage.

My wife and I were thinking of buying a home, and had no idea what was involved or if we could even afford one. We met with Jeff Segal at Lighthouse after reading reviews. Jeff was great. We went in first just to meet and gather information and he took us through the process of what would be involved. He was always available by text message for questions, and my wife wrote to him a lot over the next few weeks as we found a house, made an offer, went for the mortgage, etc. I think we must have communicated with him by text or phone over thirty times at least, and he was always able to get back to us. We are now living in our first house in St. James New York. We never would have been able to do it without Jeffrey Segal, I recommend him to all, especially any first time home buyers such as ourselves who knew nothing about the process.

As a first time home buyer, I was very nervous about the entire process. Jeff was the first person I called when I initiated the process and he was my only call. From our first conversation, I was completely confident that he would handle my file with care. He went above and beyond for me on all points and we closed on the house by our target date. Not only was he available to contact during off hours, he would also return my calls promptly and always have updated information to share with me. Jeff Segal REALLY knows the ins and outs concerning any mortgage situation. Everyone on (in?) LI has, "my guy.." "Use my guy,..." "You gotta use my guy.." Well I HAD "a guy" before Jeff who was great at NOT securing a HELOC for me; time was of the essence and my project start date was near. I went to Jeff on a recommendation and I had my HELOC within days!! After my project was completed, Jeff rolled my HELOC into my existing mortgage and LOWERED my rate beyond even what HE had anticipated. Since then (2009) I used LIGHTHOUSE to refi once more (with nominal closing costs) to shorten the term on my mortgage. LIGHTHOUSE is BEYOND PROFESSIONAL and Jeff timely delivers on what he promises with no headaches EVERYTIME, a rarity here on LI or anywhere else for that matter. I HIGHLY recommend LIGHTHOUSE.

Our experience with Jeff at light house mortgage was woundiful. From start to our closing he was there for us.We were first time home buyers and started our process about a year ago with Jeff . Every detail was explained to us and was told wich houses would work and wich house would not (and explained why it woundnt). Jeff did not rush us and looked out for us he would tell me his experiences buying a house. I could call him 20 x a day and he would answer all our questions and explain things we didnt know about buying a house . Jeff was not only our mortgage broker but our teacher and made a stressful process easy. I will definitely use him in the future.
