We have just completed the settlement for our new home and we are very excited!!! This was our first mortgage, no previous experience. Luckily, we picked “New America Financial Corp.”, Branch in Maryland, 2273 Research Blvd, Rockville for lender. We get quickly comfortable and the fears of first time borrower vanished as soon as we set down with Samuel Polland- our loan officer at New America Financial Corp. Samuel is very professional and well experienced in loan process. He explained the whole including critical details that really helped us understand not only options available, but the best option that match our need and our income. Samuel is one of the rare agents who are patient, who well understand clients, and available any time, even week end for discussion, and to put you in comfort zone. In addition, Samuel knows other efficient parties such us appraisers. The appraiser that Samuel recommended us did the job so good that we discovered the home we were about to buy was over-valued. Samuel instructed us on what to do and we stand firm. Finally the seller brought the price to market indication, making us save $9,000. Samuel was also able to secure great interest rate for us and in addition, we get some lender credit toward closing!!! We have been also very impressed with the speed and simplicity of the entire loan process with New America Financial; this is a very well organized corporation, no delays in signatures or approval at any step of the process. I don’t want to be too long, but I had a great experience, and I highly recommend “New America Financial Corp.” and Samuel Polland for your future purchases or refinances. Good company and Sam is very knowledgeable, valued customer service and maintained excellent communication throughout underwriting and closing which was extremely helpful as this was our first purchase.

Todd Sheinin and his team at New America really went the extra mile in helping my wife and I secure our mortgage. After our first lender, a large bank, failed us and could not meet timelines and expectations (and repeatedly lied to us), we went to Todd in a jam with limited time to get things done. Todd was able to get done in 3 days what my (now former) bank could not figure out how to do in 3 weeks. Todd and his team were available to me 24/7 (including weekends) to answer questions via phone, e-mail, and text and kept me updated on the status of my loan, the underwriting process, appraisal process, and the need for any additional documentation from us. Valentina Wilber isTHE best Loan Consultant ever. To my luck, I decided to buy a house during a thriving sellers market. I went through a few contract rejections before finally getting one ratified. Valentina kept in touch with me during the whole up and down process. I knew based on our interaction alone that once I did get a contract that I would be working with her. As a first time homebuyer, I was extremely nervous about every step of the process, but looking back I would have to say this was the easiest thing I have ever done.
