Needed to sell a house, and wanted it done as quickly and painlessly as possible. Found Tony Zowd on Angie’s List, read the comments, thought they were pretty honest and very personal (that was the key), so I rang Tony. Probably one of the best calls I’ve ever made! By the end of our first conversation, I already felt like we were friends. Of course, at first I just figured Tony was a good salesman. I had no idea how personally he took our discussion. Between that first call and the quick virtually painless sale of our house, Tony was there. The behind the scenes preliminary research on the property and neighborhood that is so necessary? Tony was there. Those millions of early decisions, such as how to price the house? Tony was there. Where to start with getting the actual property ready for photos and showings? Tony (and wife) was there. The tension waiting for those first calls/viewings? Tony was there. That back and forth that can be so frustrating? Tony was there. The confusion and doubt when the closing date is fast approaching? Tony was there. And when I say “there” I mean he was reachable all hours of the day and night. Tony visited us and the property regularly to keep us on track. He answered every single question both honestly and directly – there was no BS, even though at times I knew there were other things he could have said! Even on vacation a thousand miles away, Tony answered his phone, we talked as his kids played in the background (and I am sure his wife was motioning him to HANG UP), and he handled the issue immediately. He was a coach, counselor, advisor and friend throughout the entire process, and even well after. I would now call Tony Zowd a friend, and would recommend him to anyone, friend and family included (and already have)! “I gotta guy” !! I found Tony back in 2009, through a business savvy friend whose opinions I value. I had shared with my friend an email that I had received from my then current realtor – He blasted me because I had asked that more photos (there were only 2 home photos) be added to my listing (the home had been on the market for over a year with no offers). He had also stated to me that he was sick of representing small overprice homes. So my friend told me, “I gotta guy I want you to call.” Soon after Tony took over as my agent, an offer was made. I was not living in the country at the time and needed more hands-on help than most people – Tony was there for me. And in spite of the time difference, he kept in close contact with me via phone and email. Tony was there through every bump, and hiccup – he even assisted the buyers when their own agent was not able to provide them answers. When we moved back to Maryland and needed to find a place to live, Tony also helped us find a place until we were ready to buy. Most recently we worked with Tony for our next home purchase. He was always available for showings, making extra informational calls when needed. He has a proven list of associates for whatever need arises. He never let a detail drop. He showed persistence when dealing with unresponsive selling agents, and intervened as necessary when work done as a result of the home inspection was questionable. The BEST realtor in the area!! This is not my first time going through the home buying process (this is my 3rd time buying a home) so I am not new to dealing with realtors, and I have to say that Tony was the GREATEST realtor that I have EVER dealt with. There are not enough good things I can say about my dealings with Tony. He helped my family and me during a difficult time of having to sell my childhood home upon the death of my mother. Tony was courteous, compassionate and was of great assistance prior to, during and after the sale process. He definitely knows the market and has the knowledge and resources to drive traffic to view the property listings online, as well as to entice prospective buyers to visit the property. In fact, we had 4 offers within 48 hours of listing and the hose was sold within 72 hours for slightly more than our asking price. Being an out-of-town owner, I had to rely on tony to by my eyes and ears and he delivered: He visited the property often to check on things and was my "go-to" for coordination of contractors.
