We have had the unfortunate experience of having to do a short sale this past year. After being introduced to a very disappointing law firm by our real estate agent, we were lucky enough to have found Heise & Heise. James and Melissa helped not only with the legal aspects of this sale, they helped us to get through the worst six months of our adult life. I never believed a bank could be so difficult and undermining with mortgage customers after so many years of perfect payback and better then perfect credit ratings. Never living this type of experience, I made more phone calls to James and Melissa than I am sure any other client did during this type of legal matter. Not once did they turn my calls or questions away. We always received quick responses to our phone calls and emails. More than once, James called me back after hours just to answer my questions and put me at ease. This is a lawyer I HIGHLY recommend to any individual or family who may be in need of this type of service.

During one of the most stressful times I have experienced, Todd and his staff were able to bring relief and hope back to my life. I was more than worried when I had to face the reality that my home would have to be sold in a short sale. Once I met with Todd, I never had to worry again. Wills! No one wants to think about making sure that their affairs are in order and my husband and I put it off for quite some time. Todd made the process smooth. Sometimes you look at a 5 star rating and in this day in age you wonder is the rating legitimate. I can only speak from direct firsthand knowledge and personal experience. I had questions and if you are reading these reviews (like I did) for Heise & Heise you probably have questions to. I went ahead and submitted the online form and within hours had a reply to the original inquiry. After an initial discussion, a mutually agreeable time was set aside where we dug into the details of my specific scenario. Don’t miss that! Time was taken to understand my unique set of circumstances and how they impacted what we eventually discussed as the way forward. I do not know what brought you hear looking for help but know help is one click or phone call away.

Todd Heise held our hand through a very difficult time in our lives when we were faced with having to navigate a short sale on our home while living over 1,600 miles away. As is typical in these proceedings, there were pages and pages of legal documents, full of complicated jargon, and it would have been easy to miss important details that could have caused us trouble later on. Todd and Melissa stayed on top of everything, making sure that things went smoothly during the negotiations with our lender and updating us with each new development. Most importantly, he kept us clear in the end of any deficiency payments or other complications. We are forever grateful for his services and hold him in the highest professional regard.

He guided us wisely through the complex process of forming an LLC, buying a property, and drafting a lease arrangement as a small, new property management collective.
