Dental plan with not teeth? My Mother has been $40/month for Humana for at least the last year, so I was surprised when she said they paid $90 towards a $1000 visit. So I had to get on the line to find out why. Humana Customer Service said that her plan did not cover molars! WHAT! What a money maker, I bet 80% of all cavities are in molars. My dentist says you really dont even need to floss the front teeth because it is the width of the molars that allows food to hide between them. Maybe the Humana sales rep. happened to mention that she was paying $40/month for a "front teeth only" policy, and I have no doubt it is in the literature somewhere, but she had no idea and I am guess that few seniors know that either. I have considered Humana a good company up until now, but their dental plan just sunk to the level of predictor in my book.

Pathetic customer service. Nothing but lies and a ripoff. We made the mistake of having a policy years ago where my wife was the primary and now a policy where I am the primary. They cannot get their internal systems to clean up the mess so we are stuck where no one can do anything. They took our money, refuse to provide us with cards or policy info and every person we talk with gives us a different answer as to if we even have coverage. Have spent dozens of hours on the phone with no results.

My husband and purchased insurance to our parents and we met with one of the agents name Amanda Nickel. I could feel the way she was looking at my husband but I ignored her act at that time. A few days later she called my husband to ask him if we are married really!!!! She told him how cute he is. Amanda shame on you.

THEY HATE THE ENVIRONMENT! These people are the JUNK MAIL KINGS!!! I receive monthly letters for 5 different people at my house, and only 1 of them lives here. It is all junk mail advertising their crummy insurance that only Fortune 100 shareholders could possibly afford. THEY KILL TREES FOR NOTHING!!!

Daughter born August 3rd 2010, Called Humana August 5th to add her to my insurance. 10 phone conversations and 9 MONTHS later! Still no coverage for my daughter. Humana is the epitome of ineptitude and indifference. Truly the worst insurer of health in our Nation.
