Ms. Schellekens instilled confidence from the very beginning. At our first meeting she gave me a big picture look of the divorce process and then broke it down into smaller pieces for me. From the first filing to the prove-up, I felt like I had a partner in a very difficult process. Ms. Schellekens was not afraid to go to the mat if need be. Her primary concern was for me and my children and getting us to the best possible result. When I was hesitant, she reassured me. When I needed more information, she provided it without delay. She always had options and strategies for me for me to consider. I made decisions based on sound advice and practical thinking.A huge concern for me going into my divorce was the cost. Ms. Schellekens was a good steward of my limited finances. I even got money back at the end! I was a little fish to her firm, but never felt less important.
