I cannot recommend AAA Car Care Plus for repairs. They recommended an expensive, unneeded repair to my emission control system and also failed to adequately repair an air conditioner refrigerant problem. After an oil change for my 2003 Toyota Highlander, the “check engine” and VSC warning lights came on. This is not uncommon for a Highlander. I brought the vehicle back to AAA, was charge $45 to run a diagnostic check. They told me I would need a canister assembly, among other parts to repair the problem and gave a quote that amounted to over $800 in repairs. I declined to do the repair at that time. A few months later the air conditioner was not working and there’s been a slow leak for some time. I had refrigerant added by AAA, who informed me that there was absolutely no refrigerant in the system. They added a dye to the system and I was told to return if it became obvious that the system was not cooling. Six weeks later, there was no cool air coming out. I returned to AAA and was informed they would do no repairs after inspection, because the system was blowing out air at 65°. The vehicle interior was obviously not 65°, not even close. I went to a local auto repair that has been in business for over 40 years. The mechanic told me that he had to put in 95% of the total amount of refrigerant that it takes to operate the air conditioner. He also added a dye and told me to come back in two weeks. On my return, I asked him to look at the “check engine” and VSC warning lights that had remained on since prior to the diagnostic test by AAA some months prior. When he did his diagnostic test he noticed that a hose was unconnected to the emission control system. He reattached the hose, and the warning lights went out. He continued his diagnostic test and everything checked out fine. The best part-he did this at no charge. I wouldn’t let AAA Car Care Plus change a windshield wiper.

AAA Does not work on Ford apperantly they do not have the tools or experience to change SPARK PLUGS! Even i can change spark plugs. The manager Mario Reyes was very inappropriate in many aspects one is the way he speaks when he doesnt have the answers and will just walk away when you are having a conversation with him. I was very respectful with the staff and was very disappointed on how the FACILITY MANAGER!(Mario Reyes) Took care of the whole situation. I would definatly recommend AAA to reconsider swithcing to a more proffesional and knowledgeable person at their job and customer skills. Because you just lost a customer AAA. P.s i told the facility manager i would write a review about my experience and he said GO AHEAD!! Apprerantly he doesnt care about his position.

Poor customer service. All I needed was an Oil change. I am traveling out of town and my need oil light change came on. The receptionist could not accommodate us. Not the same friendly service we get in the Carolinas. Definitely will not recommend to anyone. I understand this is a new facility . Too bad they have no concept of customer service . We have been AAA members for years. Very dissatisfied. This review is for the AAA 91st and Western. Evergreen Park, IL.

45 min for a oil change and then the tell me my 2 1/2 yr old car needs a break line flush and new tires because the are 5/32 which mean they are half way wasted and then they tell me my battery failed a test, yet I took the car to Pep-boys and Advance Auto to have them check the battery and they said it was fine!!! WTF!!!! GO TRY TO GET A SUCKER SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I really like this place!!! Clean, Frendly, Professional, and free WIFI!!! I get what I paid for and then some! They let me fax something and where on top of it by giving me my confirmation. I also got a good discount and they made me happy by doing the little stuff others would charge for (Free oil plug gasket)... Definitely will come again!!!

Received an offer from AAA for a free* oil change from here, so I said, "why not?" A week later, all of the oil had drained out of my engine and I had to have my car towed. They had neglected to mention that the oil housing was cracked and needed to be repaired. The "free" oil change ended up costing me over $700.

Customer care and satisfaction is their primary objective. I had my car serviced here and had a problem. When I reported my concern they were attentive and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. The staff is congenial and well versed in the options available and willing to go the "extra mile "

I made a last minute appointment on Wednesday 8/23 they were able to pencil me in for Thursday 8/24 at 4:30pm. I arrived and greeted right away by 2 gentlemen. My car was done pretty quick. The gentleman working on my car was nice enough to change my blinker fluid, free of charge.

If there is less than one star I would but it. This place is the worst in the US. They totally damaged my car just only because of an oil change. I went back and they try to fix it but they made it worst. Totally dont go there.
