I did not have pet insurance with my first dog. I didnt think I would need it because I had been lucky until we took our dog Millie on vacation to South Carolina and brought Millie to the beach. Well let just say, we had fun until our dog ate sand and we spent our vacation in the emergency vet clinic for about a week all worried because she could not get up and eat. Total bill was 6000. Well Millie recovered, but the vet bill drained our savings. Millie was already 9 years old so the monthly premiums for that age was high. 1 year later, my wife brought home a french bulldog puppy as a gift from her friend. We named her Mickey. Well lesson learn from our first dog Millie, we got her pet insurance for Mickey. This was actually the hard part. Which one? Well after going through 5 insurance companies, I chose Figo. The coverage was right, The price was affordable. The reviews were great. Only thing company was the newest. . But then their underwriter was an established one. So I took a chance, and it was the best decision. I filed 3 claims, a skin infection, giardia incident, and kennel cough/upper respiratory infection at different times. The first few months, I spend 1800 on vet bills. All processed within 7 days. I hate paperwork so Figo was perfect. I just went on my pet cloud app and answered a few questions, took a pic, and press send. So easy. Figo will contact the vet and do the rest. I recommend my friends, family, and pet owner only Figo.

I just recently purchased FIGO pet insurance a coupllot of weeks ago. Healthy Paws was my choice in the past. However, after serious research I found FIGO to be the best overall selection. I have the Ultimate plan with unlimited benefits, 100% reimbursement level, and a $200 deductible for just $71.35. Healthy Paws charged me 60 bucks for 90% coverage and a &500 deductible. While that seems fair for Healthy Paws, for 10 bucks more, lower deductible, 100% reimbursement level, and vet exams covered (Healthy Paws does not)...The overall value is awesome: FIGO even offers an online record for your pet. You can set reminders for medicines, shots, gps track your pet, etc. Its like your own personal data bank for your pet. I enjoy using the app on my iPhone for my chocolate lab Bruce. FIGO will also send you a personalized ID tag so that if your pet is found, the finder can look it up via the website and be able to send you (and anyone else listed) a text stating they have found your pet. Petplan is similar to this insurance but charges 20-80 bucks more. That is unacceptable. I am over pleased about this choice. Everyone should look into this insurance and make the right call. Thank you FIGO for making such an affordable, super premium insurance for my best friend Bruce. Also, I am happy that the LGBTQ community started this product. I support it!

Total fraud. Be very careful before enrolling for this insurance. They absolutely do not cover ANYTHING. My dog had an ear infection and was vomiting , I sent her to the vet. Total charge was $730. They absolutely did not cover one cent. Preexisting condition they said from 10 months ago when my dog had ear infection and it wa taken care then with antibiotics. They said maybe she had the ears infected for 10 months, we do not know????? Dog was vomiting and all tests and antibiotics , were not covered either. TOTAL FRAUD. BE CAREFUL, DO NOT BE FOOLED, YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEY ARE THIEFS. Ear infection 10 months ago was treated with antibiotics, but they consider it pre existing condition!!!!! TOTAL FRAUD. Before you spend a dime with these crooks, make sure you dog or cat has never ever seen a vet, or else you are paying for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

My vet recommended me 4 insurance companies to look at. At first I thought this would be so expensive because I have six cats. I researched all 4 companies based on price, coverage, reviews, and I ended up signing up my 6 cats with Figo. Believe me I checked all the pet insurance companies out there and Figo was the only one that covered the most inclusinvely (no riders) , and affordable enough to do all 6. I only filed claims for 3 of them, as the other 3 had no health issues. Surprisingly, the claims process was fast. Waited only about 6 days to find out each claim processed. I shared this news to the 3 teachers I work with and all of them also signed up with Figo. We all liked the app. Figo is the only pet insurance to consider. Very satisfied.

My plan was in a grace period after my auto pay did not go through and they took two weeks to tell me. When I went to make payment they said coverage lapsed two days ago and if I renewed all the prior conditions would not be covered. They have above average programs, but treated me terribly and now I am paying out of pocket because my dog has a skin irritation problem that they did cover but no longer will due to their own error in allowing my coverage to lapse. Feels awful to be treated like **** after being with them for a year. They really screwed me, so be careful of that. In all my dealings up to that point they were nice people that I thought cared about my dog, but they are just a business.

Enrolled my two cats in health insurance a couple days ago, but was charged much more than that made it seem like I was going to pay. I assumed that the amount that had had "Due Today" next to it was what I would be paying that day, only to find out they charged me admin fees as well. Never at any point did it verify that I agreed to pay the amount that charged me. To me this was a bad indication of what doing buisiness with them would be like, so I chose to cancel. They are refunding the full amount but it has taken numerous calls and emails for them to do so.

Fast, friendly customer service. Easy to understand policy (compare to others). Easy claim filing process. Not all my claims were granted reimbursements, but reasons for rejection were also reasonable and easy to understand. Those claims which I do get reimbursed were processed in timely manner.

Hard to imagine not loving this company! I have a 1 year old lab mix and encountered a few "issues" during the past year. Figo was absolutely perfect. Easy to file claims and very quick reimbursement. Just signing up for year 2 without any hesitation!!!
