Well, how do I begin...We had been going through such disasters with trying to obtain a MTG. We went through 2 different brokers, who were a total waste of our time. ... After our awful experiences a very good friend told us to call "Carlos" over at Christopher Paul Financial. Reluctantly I made a call out to his office the next day, and after the conversation of just 15 minutes he had me at... "Heyyyy how are you". Carlos was beyond just nice to speak to....he answered ALL my questions and addressed every one of my concerns. He was intelligent, knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, concerned, informative, well spoken and just so down right awesome to have a conversation with! The stress of buying the home AND the possibility of DIVORCE had been lifted by a fantastic group of saints!!....They took on our MTG with diligence. I heard from them each day, even if it was just to say hello and confirm things were still moving. They never put us off, I would swear they did something on our file every day even if all they could do was move it to a different side of the desk. Our MTG was approved in RIDICULOUSLY FANTASTIC timing!! NEVER thought it would be done that quick, but with the right people and AWESOME TEAM WORK, they get it done, and DONE WELL!.... They helped us close on our home, keep our sanity and take divorce off the table!!!!!! (thank you) They should think of changing their name to "CHRISTOPHER PAUL FINANCIAL - COUNSELING" It was sad for us in the end...they were a group we did business with yes, but through the entire process, they felt more like friends, you know.... the ones you WANT to keep too!! Where do I begin? Justin helped our dreams come true. When we sold our home we recommended that our buyers use Justin with Christopher Paul Financial. Unlike most lenders Justin told everyone the truth so everyone knew what to expect. The closing went as smooth as possible! Both buyers and sellers were happy and actually sat in the same room at closing (very rare these days)! When we purchased a home Justin made this so easy for us. He knew exactly what we were going to need before we received the request for documents. We were very prepared thanks to him. With new lending regulations lending wide the process has changed so much. Justin prepped us on what to expect down to a T. Our transaction was a cake walk compared to the big bank horror stories most buyers go through. Thanks for making our dream come true of living on the water and stressless as possible! ... At first everything was going really good, Carlos was very helpful and everything was very smooth. When I first started the application I told Carlos that I had a bankruptcy from 2009 and that a mortgage was included in the bankruptcy so it was his job to look into that very closely before having me spend $560 for the home inspections etz... Then he calls me and tells me that the mortgage was still under my name after 2 weeks of him helping me with the loan. It was a really stupid lazy mistake that cost me $560 dollars for him not digging into my bankruptcy more. Very dissapointed!
