I had a similar experience to Keith. I have banked with GTE since I have ever had a bank. My first incident I was in Colorado and they send me thru their outside source of fraud department although I was telling them that I am who I am. They wanted to know exactly what states I was driving back to Florida thru and at the time I did not know. They hassled me for over an hour on my vacation as I tried to buy a few things at GOODWILL. Fast forward to now. I plan on closing my account tonight or tomorrow ( when I get time from work) because you do not have any way of finding out when a credit card bill is due. You have to log into their site to find out a due date and if it is late they hit you with $25 late fee. To get a bill in the mail you need to pay $5 a month. That is just ridiculous in my opinion. Seems like GTE has really gone downhill. Good luck staying in business.
