Horribe service, both in regards to customer and power. Once arrived in person to pay bill at 455, and doors were locked and cashiers ignored me and laughed at me. Power goes out if wind goes over 20kts. Takes days to come back and customer service is dismissive and rude. When you rise concerns about tree branches over power lines, they write off concerns and state "we know what we are doing." Next storm, aforementioned brances bring lines down and back to waiting days and largely being ignored. Installing solar panels ASAP and will be pushing for FPL to take service area away from this company. Would be ok if it was an isolated incident, but it is systemic and chronic. I cannot even imagine if we actually got hit hard by a serious storm, I think the whole City would lose power for months. Plus, they piggyback off FPL when they lose power, so really you are paying FPL sometimes for your power. Incompotent is an apt description of this company, second, choice derelict, as they can barely maintain the current infrastructure, much less move into the future.

Vero Beach Electric Dept. and infrastructure is absolutely horrible. I have lived at the same address for 4 years, The Power will go out with the slightest wind, And it always takes days or weeks to get the service back, as expensive as it is. The heat of a Florida summer is deadly, COVB Electric SUCKS!! PLEASE REPLACE MANAGEMENT ASAP

3rd time in less than a week that the power went out (twice after hearing a loud pop). I am sure the staff is very nice and they work hard but someone needs to figure out what the problem is and get it fixed properly. I just hope our house and the appliances inside can handle the surges in power when the electric gets turned back on.

Cannot get any estimate of power returning after hurricane Matthew. Call the phone number regarding outage. No answer, they request u press # then tell u no operators available, call later. Lousy customer service. Come on FPL.

Garbage responses to restoration of power after Matthew. Heads need to roll.
