I was living in the US awaiting a court date on my green card case, (when I entered the US they took it from me as I had not returned in over two years). When I got a good job I knew I would have to give them my status and the deadline for my temporary status was about to finish. I needed a court date to get back my card. I searched google, picked the first lawyer that caught my eye and called. Atty Elan Baret answered the phone. His level of professionalism was exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment and went into the office. There I also met Atty William Gerstein, who ascertained that a court case had already occurred and I had been deemed deported. My life flew into chaos. Atty Baret however spoke firmly with me to get me to look at my situation from a different perspective. I am grateful to him for that because it made me listen to reason. Between Atty Gerstein, Atty Baret and Atty Cooper, I was well schooled on the process it would take to take to get my green card back. Patricia Cooper was assigned to my case but there was always the impending presence of Atty Baret and Gerstein behind her. What is also striking about the firm was their ability to humanise my situation and make me feel as if I was never alone. This team work is an uncommon quality and to watch them strive for that level service on my little case, gained my utter trust and respect. We recently won our case and my green card will be returned to me. I am proud to have them as my attorneys. I hope they remain appreciative of each other and fearless to their task.

I do have the pleasure of completing my adjustment status using this firm and I am very pleased with the results. I met Mr Gerstein via the internet and to this day I am yet to meet him in person. I have no idea what he looks like (except for his picture on the internet) and he does not know what I look like (except for my drivers license & passport photos). I live in another state and he was able to skillfully complete my paperwork without any problem; I did encounter a few minor glitches but they were no major concern to this knowledgeable man, he knew exactly what was needed and what was to be done and it was done. Mr Gerstein is very supportive, detailed, thorough, his fees are fair and the payment options are awesome. He is also an excellent communicator and is always there to encourage you even when you are doubting yourself; he prepares you properly and leaves no stones unturned for your interview and even afterwards he consults with you.
