I highly recommend District Title for both settlements and refinances. In fact, District Title is the ONLY title company that I will use because I 100% trust them. My property ended up in tax sale as a result of District Title, dropping the ball and not filing an updated owner’s address with DC, so that tax bills continued to be sent to the previous owners and never forwarded to me. In addition, when I was notified about the tax sale and then contacted Steve Sushner at District Title, he took barely any responsibility and told me there was nothing they could do and offered no help. Thankfully, I thought to contact the title insurer and they helped remedy the problem and covered costs of the penalties and interest.

Closings have always been smooth and Steve is great with communicating and solving problems that may come up with buyers/sellers and the bank.
