OMG! worst company!, I was late in my payments, So on my way to a hospital give them a call with the intention to pay my premium over the phone. They said unfortunately your policy is cancelled!, I said ohhhh, well I guess is my fault, and accepted the responsibility. 3 months later they send me a letter, "unfortunately your police was cancelled by mistake, we apologize for the inconveniences....... But still you have to paid us for the 3 months ..... due in 3 weeks. crazy, since then I have been trying to contact them.... without any luck, even worse when someone answer the call, they do not know how to handle this issue. I dont know what to do, I think is very unfair what they are doing, I had medical expenses during the time that the covering was supposedly cancelled, Everything came out of my pocket.

I have had the worst imaginable experience. The customer service is atrocious as they take your call and pretend that they are going to follow up and resolve the issue and it as if it goes into a black hole. Most of the time they do make a note in your record because the next person can clearly see the notes and they make notes and tell you that they will call you back and NEVER EVER do. And so it goes, day after day, week after week, and month after month. My most recent issue started back in June and I am STILL trying to get it resolved because NO ONE will do their job that they get paid to do. What the Hell!!!!!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a health insurance company. 1 hour and 8 customer service representatives later, my simple issue of having my date of birth corrected was still not addressed. The system is really disorganized so prepare to be bounced around departments while your precious time slips through your fingers. I called for group plan administration and ended up in sales, billing, individual services and provider support all before having the phone hung up on me.

No one answers the customer service line. The 24hr nursing line took a complaint for me. I emailed them via their own site...no reply. I tried mailing a letter with a certified return letter......no reply I am actually going to drive down the building in D.C and file a complaint....in person.

It is impossible to follow up on submitted claims. The number on the back of my card "is not a working Carefirst number" and any other googled number I call says to call the number on the back of my card. Umm....? NOT HAPPY!

Fewer and fewer doctors take their insurance. Find a better provider. Worst in the region.

After two attempts, one dropped called, and depressing musicals, I simply gave up.
