I signed with Trailstone when I first moved to CO. It seemed pretty good. They changed my agent on me after I arrived. This one seemed to be a little "sensitive". My rates went up significantly after the first year. Then I had a comp claim. The adjuster was horrible - very bullyish. When it came time to take care of the rental, the adjuster was unwilling to pay for it because I had adjusted the repairs out of concerns for the appearance of my vehicle. My agent refused to stand by me. The auto body repair place, and the car rental company were outstanding and took care of the issue, no thanks to my insurance to whom I pay $200+ a month to. After consulting multiple other agencies I went back to Allstate, and I am actually saving money. Now I feel like I am back in good hands - I should have never left them to begin with for a few bucks. An agent should stand with their customer, not throw them under the bus. She never acknowledged her error and was more than happy to lose my business. Too bad, I gave them several opportunities, but they choose not to take them. I wish it could have been different. In all fairness, had the adjuster just done her job and not been so abrupt and abrasive and dishonest with her reports to my agent, the issue with the agent would have never happened.

Everything started great, Beth was very pleasant and helpfull, but 2 months later we received a letter of $1230 increase in our policy with no explanation! When I called Beth she said it was because they did not receive proof of previous insurance, but since she had it she will send it and take care of that. Five days later I received an email from Beth that our previous insurance company was not one of the main companies so the rate will stay increased, she also said that because we had a gap in coverage for 2 years while we were in Europe thaybhad to keep it that way. We decided to change our insurance, but they withdrew out payments 3 days prior to the automaric payment day! When I asked why that happened, Beth said if we cancel our policy they will refund the balance pretty quick, no word why they withdrew money ilegally 3 days ahead of time! Very pleasant till there is a problem, once a problem is there Trailstone is not doing anything to resolve it!

Mark is patient, knowledgable, and responsive. Had a unique situation where my car was originally being paid off by a relative, but then was transferred to me to drive and finish paying off. Therefore, my relative still needed to be on the registration and our insurance limits had to match. Mark explained each step and then helped me decide which provider would give me the best value. He also helped when we purchased our first home and made sure to highlight that we were aware of various issues when purchasing with an HOA and a town home so that we were completely covered. Finally, I shopped around and got references from friends and Trailstone got me the lowest quotes. I would absolutely recommend him.
