I was recently involved with a (F4) Theft & (F5) Submitting a False Instrument. I was worried so much that I could have lost my job if they would have found out and hurt me more in the long run for my career. I was worried about having jail time and a conviction on my record for the rest of my life and losing my civil rights, i.e. losing my rights to own a weapon and/or a carry concealment license. I barely made enough but still made over the requirements to obtain a Public Defender. I started to call around and found Mr. Clifton Black. I setup a consultation and at that first meeting, we got to chat and discuss the case. It was a great first meeting that I ended up hiring Mr. Black. After going back and forth with the DA, Mr Black was able to get my get my 2 Felonies dismissed and dropped down to a DEFERRED Class 2 Misdemeanor with Fines, Fees and a Suspended Sentence. Mr. Black is a wonderful person and a great Attorney. If I ever need another Attorney in the future, Clifton Black would be the person to go. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney.

I was recently involved in a Domestice violece case I was wrongly accused of and I felt the the "victim" and the police took advantage of the situation and I had no way to prove myself after being released from the el paso county jail I began my search for an attorney I felt would take my case seriously and push for the best results possible I talked to two other attorneys and then I was referred to Clifton Black of Black and Graham after meeting with Clifton for a consult I felt I was in good hands he explained the process to me so I could make the right decisions for my future. We tried every thing to prove my innocence but still ended up taking my case to trial where Clifton Black proved himself to be the best attorney I could of asked for he made the jury see the whole story and not just the parts and bits the District attorney would like them to see. Carl Graham has represented my family for over 9 years. I am a single father and have heard horror stories of how some fathers get the short end of the stick at times with our court systems. Carl’s expertise and knowledge of our judicial system is incredible. I hired Carl to protect my family from my children’s neglectful mother and grandmother until each of them had been emancipated. He did everything in his power to present to the courts evidence proving that my children were with the correct parent and also presented to the court that grandparent’s do not automatically have rights in this state to see their grandchildren unless they had a close and quasi parental relationship with them. Carl also protected my children by assuring that the proper amount of child support was being paid by their mother.
