This is the second job Garvey Roofing has performed for me. The first was a new roof and skylight on a Spanish duplex built in 1925. They recommended a type of roofing system that is used in Northern California. I have not had any problems subsequently. On the second job, a determination was made that a roof tune-up would resolve potential problems and repair immediate issues. This job was done promptly and reasonably. Even though unanticipated, additional material was required and a greater scope of work was performed, the price remained as quoted. I highly recommend their services. They are complete professionals and take pride in their work.

We used Garvey to replace the roof on our townhouse. Their bid was about 20-30% lower than the other bids that we received. Our adjoining neighbor had a leak that needed to be addressed quickly and although Garvey was busy at the time because it was right at the beginning of fall, they squeezed us in and got our roof done in just a few days. They were always very responsive with our phone calls and had great customer service. We are very happy with our new roof, especially since we had heavy rains after we put it on!

My family is still glad that we had Garvey Roofing repair the large cracks on our roof and around the roof pipes. Tom is very professional and a nice person. He explained what needed repairs. After fixing the cracks around the pipes, they used a paint compound that matched our roof color, leaving it nicer than we originally had it. The pricing is fair, and they left the job very clean. Our home had no leaks from these recent rain downpours, and that also was proof of their great roofing skills.

The work was done professionally and in half the quoted time. Workers put forth extra effort to keep debris off ceiling-less areas. Additionally, the team removed some extra trash we had around our property from other renovations when cleaning up. The roof looks good and added some needed structural support to the rafters. I have an old fashioned Spanish roof with tiles mortared together. To reuse these tiles while re-roofing they have to be cleaned of the old mortar. In the process some tiles broke and had to be discarded. Garvey Roofing made an effort to preserve as many of the old tiles as possible. They also went out of the way to find new tiles of the same color as the old ones. In general, I was happy with their work. -Nick C. San Marino

I hired Garvey Roofing to do a "roof tune-up”. They are very flexible with their time and came out to do the job without interrupting my work schedule. They cleaned up extremely well and were always very friendly and professional. Tom was always accessible to answer any questions. Overall I am happy with my choice.
