I am very displeased with Real Estate Law Center. I retained them back in November of 2015 to pursue my Lender in obtaining a Mortgage Modification. The Retainer fee was $4,000 dollars plus $495 maintenance charge each month to. I was persuaded and confident that RELC would be the right company to help. In the beginning things seemed to be going pretty well, keeping me informed thought their portal that updates you on the case. Information on the portal showed that they were trying to get a modification through the standard process. December 9th I sent the Service Packet filled out and was Introduces to the Attorney Mae Ednalga. May seemed to be accommodating and keeping me in the loop. However as of march 2016 I stopped seeing any type of Updates on the portal. In April I received a Pay or Quit Letter after RELC failed to bill me under new banking Card Information that I sent them to change. In June of 2016 I spoke with the Attorney may to pursue the next step because it was evident that the Lender was not going to modify the loan. I sent her all of the information that she needed in order to start drafting the complaint in June 22, 2016. Although it was taking an enormous amount of time for her to respond to my phone calls, and emails we corresponded back and forth throughout June & July, I still continued sending her Information that may have been of benefit to complete her draft. She had previously told me that it would take a week to complete the draft. From August to September I didn’t hear anything from the Attorney. I sent an email after email and leaving voice messages. Finally I started to call the company customer service, the owner for an entire week with no one getting back to me. From that point I had to send e-mails to everyone I could in the company. I called again on September 9th and finally got a customer service person. He told me he would have Mae Contact me as well as the owner. I was very upset that no one was communicating and that no one would even answer phones lines and return messages. I started to get the feeling that I was scammed. The customer Service person told me that Mae Ednaga was no longer with the company. I asked why no one informed me for a whole entire month and why I had to find out by calling. He had no answer. He told me case was being handled by a Lawyer named Aren. I tried to engage Aren and the Owner through e-mails and voice mails for a whole entire week. I tried calling the customer service to see if they could have the owner call me or speak to me to no avail. Finally after a week of emailing everyone at the company, I get an e-mail response from Lawyer Tala Rezai. She informs me that Aren has been assigned and will be in contact with me shortly. The same day I asked if she could represent me because it seemed that she was the only on that took the time to get back with me. However since she took over to represent and I sent her everything she needed to become familiar with the case, the communication has been very bad in responding to e-mails, Case filing status. RELC never filed my case. I was getting the same bad customer service and not being informed, updated, etc. Finally after exhausting all my time to try and get in touch with Tala, I decided to cancel utilizing RELC. Finally on Nov 2 Tala emails me only to ask are you still continuing with us. There was no attempt to apologize for not communicating with me and the delays. My last e-mail to her was on 11-2-16 asking how we can make filing a complaint happen. She did not respond, not r did any of the Intake managers, or Owner. I have sent numerous emails to the owner with no responses. To Date I have paid over 8,000 dollars and not even a complaint was filed. I feel that RELC has used stall tactics to ensure they receive the monthly $495 fees collected to maintain cases. I do not feel that they have done anything close to enough over the last year to justify paying the amount of money I have paid. I am very disappointed.

For the past four years we had actively worked with our mortgage company to no avail. After exhausting everything, our retirement, our savings and running up credit card debt we decided to contact Real Estate Law Center. I have to say, it was not easy and I was apprehensive as they weren’t local, you could stop by the office to ask questions or put a face to a name but in the end we had lost almost everything, except our house and decided to take a leap of faith. The team (Jonathan, Charlie and Estela) worked endlessly for us. They provided excellent customer service. Provided us with their legal expertise and were upfront with us, which at times was not what we wanted to hear. However, in the end they were very successful with our case. They were able to get the mortgage company to work with us in less than 3 months for something we had tried over and over for more than 4 years. If you feel you have some of the same issues, I highly recommend their services. While they can’t guarantee the outcome you want, they can provide you with the legal advice to help navigate a difficult situation. Thank you, Thank you Real Estate Law Center!!

These people have done everything they said they were going to do . It is a long process and they need to be given all the pertinent documents in a sound and timely manner . our payments were lowered 627.00 monthly . Thanks to Hal Jeffries , Elba Chavez , Abby Castillo and Especially Tala our lawyer . They are very diligent in handling and corresponding to the bank and getting back to us , you can see they are very busy and every case is different .we were very skeptical at first but these people handled their business and ours . Thank You very much .

We are clients of RELC. They get 5 stars because they were able to get us a Trial Loan Modification which is the last step in obtaining a final loan modification. Tala Rezai, the attorney assigned to us, has earned our respect. Hector, in the office as well. We are getting the loan mod. because we had (RELC) looking out for our best interest. Without legal counsel the banks will simply carry on with the same old tomfoolery. RELC, Tala Rezai, Hector and Araceli are highly recommended!

I was given a foreclosure notice , but once I signed up with them they gave me a paper to take to the bank attorneys . Once they received it proceedings stopped. Only thing is I have yet to hear from my assigned attorney. They are slow to contact and do not forward info. I have to keep on top of things and make sure I am getting the paperwork from them . My situation is yet to be resolved (paid in march 2015) but not out of the time frame they implied.

Although the experience was long and stressful, The outcome could not have been better. I had tried for 3 years to get my lender to refinance my home loan and for one reason or another, I was always denied. When Hector and RELC got involved, I was skeptical and it seemed to drag on forever. In the end, my payments have been reduced by $1626 and I can not be happier. Thank you Hector for your kind words and patience with me during the process

I was in a really rough spot and upside down on my mortgage back in April. I came across Real Estate Law Center online and decided to give them a shot. I am very happy I did because they were able to get a loan modification which helped me out tremendously. They worked with me every step of the way and communicated everything to me. Really appreciate the help. Thank you guys.

We started working with them and were convinced by them that we really would have a case against WF. We decided against continuing working with them, when we had to pay 5k up front. It just did not make sense and seemed like a scam. Honestly, did not go through entire process with them, so not sure it would of been beneficial, but got some bad feelings and backed out.

I did some research first, and began to talk to Real Estate Law Center, and thought about it some more. But in reality, they were really helpful. All I can say is that it works and they helped me out of a jam. It sounds vague, I know but I dont feel like airing my problems here in public but they deserve a shout out.
