Their service is horrible. My truck was wrecked by one of their motorist more than one week ago and their agent April Smith has not returned the calls of my attorney or myself. Maryland Auto will not answer the phone, resulting in my truck being left at the body shop without an estimated value for repairs, or me having recevied a rental car. If someone with this insurance hits you, beware they are the most unprofessional, unresponsive company ever. This insurance is certainly intended for high risk drivers that do not have to be penalized for their poor driving--their client might as well be uninsured. Moreover, I was told by my insurance company that I could pay collision and rental fees using MY insurance and that I MIGHT be reimbursed if they can ever reach them. Absolutely worthless!!
Reading all these bad reviews as someone will want to have this insurance was looking for car insurance but oh God looks bad is this company., All hate Is it really bad? I mean reading all THESE coments, what is the purpose to Have insurance, the cpmpany needs to be shutdown then.
The worth ever insurance company I ever heard of, a representative on the phone try to give me a quote after running my license and he hit me with $401 on my new chevy suburban Lol I normally pay $100 no more no less it was such a shock I will never requmind it for any one private or commercial.
I also was rear-ended by one of their insured customers and was not at fault. Mind you, this happened many years ago. They still are playing games with my lawyer and have stalled for so long in sending the settlement check. What a horrible company to deal with. One star is being very generous.
Zero stars. Had one of their insured drivers run into me last week, admitted fault to me and to the responding police officer. Just found out they are not going to cover the damages. Believe what you hear....these people are crooks. Rodger Hobson....thief. Zero stars.
It not even worth 1 star. Worse customer service ever. They are not responding their emails or calls. They hung up on me 2 times straight. Never called or emailed me back. They almost yelling at me. Stay away from this company. This company should not be in the business.
My father was killed by one of their DRUNK insured drivers Nov last year. The person was also found GUILTY and they still have yet to return my lawyers calls or emails ITS SICK and reading all the reviews im ANGRY that it had to be with these people.! I NEED ANSWERS
I have never tried their customer service because I am new and I purchased my policy 3 weeks ago. I like the easy i bought my policy, they offered me insurance when nobody else wanted to do it. PD. This review could change in the future
Purchased Maif on line. Not the easiest site to navigate but got a good price and a discount for paying for it in full for the year. Received a follow up call from Larry to ensure things were what I wanted. Thanks, DT
ZERO STARS! I was hit by one of their drivers and have been trying to get up with them for OVER A MONTH!!! No one returns emails or phone calls. I will be reporting them to the MIA and BBB. This company is a SCAM!
Noone answers your calls ever and if they do they never take you seriously. First time and last time ill be with this company. Its useless. They need to be shut down
The Uninsured department is terrible. they dont try to work with you and will make you jump through hoops. i will never recommend this place

Maif is OK! Its reasonable and they insured me when no one else does.But on the bad side,they never pick up the phone!
I was cancelled by Geico and they told me to go to Maif. Thanks Geico... Maif was cheaper and I got better service.
Roadway has great prices for MAIF. If you need MAIF go there. People you can trust.
