My insurance started out by telling me I will have all the same doctors. This never happened. I lost all my doctors which were important to me since I have a brain tumor. I started having some pains in my side. I went to my family doctor which was cool as hell by the way. Mr Kolonowski.is great. I needed a colonoscopy. So what Aurora did was look up what deductibles were paid and realizing I have fullfilled them and the best way to cash in was to put me in out of network doctors. They told me they had no GI doctors in the network which was lie. Everyone in the room with me was out of network. Out of pocket expense was $2000!!!!!!! After I have covered almost all of the deductible brackets. Look on line and you will see how many GI doctors that aurora has and they go and set me up. How unethical can you be??? My insurance tried telling me it was not covered because I had slight pain in my side. I am going to court with these assoles!!!!!!!!!!! Ps the star was forced upon me to post this. Really creeps me out that I have to post a star when they are far from star status. Someone bonused on my behalf. I hope had fun in Hawii cause we are going to the courthouse to explain yourself creep. Then I get a letter stating the provider used of network providers. Brenda does not answer her phone or return calls. Nobody wants to take the blame for going to out of network providers when Aurora had in network capability. Thats why they own half of Milwaukee already!!!

I cannot speak about the coverage yet because in 2 years, I have not needed it, but the phone representatives could be the most clueless bunch of people as well as rude, that I ever dealt with. From one to the next we have been told different stories. Last week, I made a single months payment and we were still behind, we were told by a phone rep that we had until the end of the billing cycle to catch up, or be cancelled. I tried to make another payment to get current in the same week but the online site would not accept the payment until the previous one was processed. All week the payment said processing, so I could not pay. Finally on Monday I was able to pay, still well before the end on the billing cycle. It accepted the payment, and now it says we are cancelled and have not been covered since January. Yet I have made 5 payments in the mean time and all were accepted. I will be paying a visit to brookfield where I WILL get my money back. Remember, Common ground, your low level phone reps are representing your company and doing a horrible job as well as lying to people. We will find a new provider as soon as these crooks give us our money back for the non coverage.

Been a member for 1 year. I wanted to give them a chance since they were a new startup that was a non profit. I have been very patient and understanding because they are/were new. I have finally lost my patience and understanding. Nobody seems to know anything, and billing is terrible. They constantly are making mistakes and contacting them is like pulling teeth. Why have an email address for customer service if nobody responds? Each month I try and refill my meds and they deny them because "I do not need them for this long". Who the heck are they to tell me this? They do not make that decision, my doctor does. I have to get my doctor involved all the time, and I am sure he is tired of all the bs too. I might be more understanding if the meds were narcotics and addiction was an issue but they are not. Stay away from them and save yourself the headache. There has to be something better. I will soon find out because I am leaving and finding something better.

We have used CG for 2014. Needed coverage after Wisconsin dropped HIRSP. Used ACA system to compare (that was fun in 2013...) The 5 stars are based on the entire experience and comments highlighted below. Note 2015 options have improved for our county, so shop around. Cons: Customer service was horrible in beginning, however they are a startup and did not solution CS well. This seems to be improving. Pros: Claims are processed with decent timeliness. They were only one of two companies in our county that covered Columbia/St Marys They provided an option for insurance as a startup when the "for big profit" health insurance companies bailed. Kudos. UPDATE: Just called customer service and while the wait time was 12 minutes (you know where you are in que) the CS rep was very helpful and informative. (thanks April!)

Not a good start Common Ground. We were sent an EOB for a childrens visit from a few weeks ago. We owe the full amount according to the EOB even though the Dr is listed in the Provider Directory. I call and I am put on hold for 8 mins. I explain my situation and the lady says that the Dr is not in network. I calmly explain I am looking at his name and address currently in their online provider directory update just 4 days ago. 6 more minutes on hold and they come back with "Their system is down and they are unable to verify if the Dr is actually in network" Great, so now more work for me as I have to call back tomorrow and probably go through the same thing again. Oh, and after they stated the above, the lady sort of just hung up on me. No "is there anything else I can help with" or goodbye.

Dear Sirs , I have had a common ground health policy since 2014 that I have been very satisfied with and it worked well for me I had purchased thru the exchange. This year that policy had been discontinued and after speaking with ODI at Marketing department in your letter he was very helpful in finding a appropriate policy and helping me complete the process with healthcare.gov. He took the reins and just made the change seamless for 2016 and we were also able to get the payments made for the January done with the electronic payment system. I would just like to say Thank You for the quality of personnel and your attention to detail and helping the customer. Please pass this note on to him.

This company had no problem taking another payment from me even after I called to verify that my account would be cancelled on 12/31/14. Now my broker is trying to get a hold of someone there with no return calls. The insurance also did not pay for claims as promised such as my breast pump and all charges associated with a specialist visit, which requires a co-payment at the time of the visit, this should cover anything that happens in that visit. At this point I would not recommend using them, I have been trying to get this resolved since 1/20/15 with not 1 return call back. The hold times are long up to 40 minutes and to wait that long and then get disconnected is unacceptable.

Stay away from Common Ground, they will deny medically necessary treatment for one claim with a particular CPT code and then when the same procedure is performed again with the same CPT code it will be approved. There is no rhyme or reason to there claims determinations;numerous providers told me this behavior is common with Common Ground. I am lucky enough that there nonsense claims department has not effected me financially. If you ever have to talk on the phone to Common Ground, good luck they were getting better, but now they are terrible again.

They consistently messed up our billing and threatened dropping us when we actually had credit on our account. We spoke to multiple representatives who said they would fix it, they never did. Now they are trying to save money by denying health coverage and saying that it is unnecessary. We joined the Common Ground because we believed in the principles that it represented but it has grossly underperformed and proven to be a headache and no better than any other insurance company trying to save money by denying coverage.

I am a new customer through "Obamacare." My 2017 billing and eligibility was mixed up, but it was resolved within 24 hours. Brandon from member services was so helpful in getting the issue to the right people who could fix it. I was patient and it was resolved more quickly than I could have imagined (especially with the government involved!). I hope this service continues.

They constantly say I havent paid my premium. Just got another letter saying my grace period is almost up. ITS PAID!!!!!!! Half the time I dont get a bill and when I do its wrong. These people need to get some people working for them that have at least half a brain. Customer service is aweful. You cant speak to a human!! Bad, Bad Bad!!!!

I am having a bad experience through this company. I signed up with the MarketPlace and have paid for my insurance, but have yet to receive a phone call or an insurance card. I do not even know how I can find a doctor through them because going to use their page is confusing. If someone would contact me, then I would change my review.

Terrible customer service. Plus, my wife just got a job this year, making an extra 1k per month for our family. CGHC decides my premium should be $400 more per month, and has more than tripled the cost of every presription we have, and for me that is costly with my asthma meds. Currently shopping other plans, I would stay away.

I was with CommonGround in 2015 and have since found another insurance company. Recently, I looked for records from when I was insured. I can no longer login, nor are the phone people very helpful. Unfortunately, I must muddle through and deal with these difficult and poorly trained folks as the information is critical.

These people and the company border on criminal. The executives should be arrested for putting their customers health and life in peril. Why the state of Wisconsin has not stepped in and shut these people down is beyond me. If I could post this review by giving them no stars (which is what they deserve) I would.

This company are a disgrace, they are insisting my wife lowers the dosage for medication she has been on for years. I suppose they think they know better than her doctor? To add insult to injury the customer service has been constantly rude and unhelpful. Their miserly approach to health care is pathetic.

The customer service is horrible. LATRISHA, the so called "supervisor " was extremely rude and lied. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They give you the run around. Was told that letters were mail to our home and we never received anything. If they had negative stars I would choose that option.

Awful. My insurance was dropped due to an error in my auto-pay through my bank, I was never notified by phone or email, only two letters that I did not receive due to me being away from my home for an extended period of time. They were incredibly unhelpful throughout the entire experience.

I lost my husband health care coverage after he passed away at a young age. MarketPlace signed me up with CommonGround .... So far so good. The only part I do not care for, is trying to reach someone by phone. That takes forever.....but when I do get through, they are quite pleasant.

I’ve had CGHC for two years now, they have made some major improvements in the last year. It is an incredibly affordable option with good coverage. For their customer service you actually get to talk to a real person who cares and their claims are processed in a timely manner.

I started a new job in MKE and was not provided health insurance until I was hired on. CGHC came to my rescue. Their plans were easy to understand and there was a lot of variety in networks. I only had them for 5 months but it was a seamless experience.

When my son had pass away had to call them up a couple of times to see why he was still on the plan. Keep on having issues with them returning the payment. Where we have it set up where they take it out every month. Not a very happy person.

Statements are always cryptic. Id like to know why my premium shot up 50 bucks a month. Cannot get a hold of anyone in a reasonable time to find out. Give us your money or be fined by the government, thank you. Pathetic greed.
