My mother had a major stroke and was airlifted 5 hours away. My father and I frantically packed and met her at Swedish in Seattle. In my hurry I grabbed my mediset while packing. Her condition worsened and we were there longer than planned. I spent all my extra money on food, accomodations etc. I ran out of my meds in my mediset. I asked for refills through the hospital and Premera turned me down. There was only 2 days left for a refill. I explained the situation, that my mom was dying and I was far from home. I SIMPLY CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE NO POLICY ON VACATIONS/EMERGENCIES. NO COMPASSION HERE. THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT HEART MEDICATION THAT I COULD NOT GO WITHOUT. I ENDED UP RUNNING OUT AND GOING INTO ATRIAL FIB BECAUSE OF LACK OF MEDICINE.

Premera and their subsidiaries have charged us a total of five times for two people in a single month. Technically they charged us twice when we switched then when we called to correct it they charged us again. Tried to call their customer service again to correct it but they kept me on hold for over an hour until their service line was no longer open. Nice to see they have your back.

I would give it less. Premera health refuses to hire decent staff in any sense or meaning of the words. They have allowed 11 million customer records to be taken from their servers and sold to the highest bidders. They are so inept that you could find better health care in a mental ward. If you take them as your provider, I promise you, you will live to regret it for an eternity.

Permera Blue Cross totally sucks! Call them 6 times and all customer services gave me different answer. They talked some bullshit for one hour and said they will research it and get back to me in 5 days. Then I got another chunk of bullshit after 5 days. Back and forth three times! They are hiring idiot and totally do not know what they are doing!

This is the worst customer service I have experienced. I was on hold for an hour, and finally spoke to someone who told me to send in my payment, which I did immediately. They cancelled my plan the next week. On hold for an hour and 1/2 to talk to someone to try to get my healthcare plan reinstated.

Thee website is the absolute worst. I have never had such a hard time trying to give someone my money. Every single month I have to reset my password to try to gain access. I have had to change it several times within minutes trying to get their system to work correctly.
