I have an account with Firstlight and plan and canceling ASAP! I worked here as a temp a few months back and was told specifically from a supervisor that I would be hired permanently after the 90 days were up from the temp agency. As soon as they found out about my pregnancy I was let go two weeks before the 90 days were up with no explanation. Coincidence? I think not. Discrimination towards pregnancy, really? Anyways, I worked there long enough to see how these "supervisors" treat the members. Very heartless and not helpful what-so-ever. In the end all they want from you is to sign up for loans and credit cards. They do not care about your needs. Only if it benefits them in the end. I do warn you, if you are going to have a Firstlight account avoid going to Kenworthy! Worst Firstlight in El Paso! And long waits!

Tried to re-charge me for a closed account from 5 years ago that was paid back then when i applied for a car loan. Refused to look into it because according to them i should have paperwork from 5 years ago on an old account. They do not have any records at all of that old account. Very unprofessional when helping me.

My husband passed away on August 19 of this year, and this place has had me in tears more than I care to think about! Now today as I am attempting to conduct business AGAIN I run up against brick walls! I will take every last penny out and put it some place safe like in a coffee can under a tree with my husbands ashes!

A credit union beats a big bank hands down, any day and this is the best credit union in El Paso. The lobby is open until 3pm on Saturdays and when you can get your spare change counted in the machine, you will get back 100% of it in larger bills, as long as you are a member.
