I have had the privilege of banking at this branch since 1981, when I got my first teaching job. This bank is like family, since it has seen me through my engagement, wedding, honeymoon, holidays, vehicles, home mortgage, birth of children, raising of children, vacations, graduation, college and training, and retirement. Without their services, I would not have had such a full and “rich” life. The thread that flows through this bank these years has been the caring customer experience. In fact, yesterday, I ran into Patti, the heart of the lobby, and she offered to have the bank manager call me about an issue I was having financially. She said, “There is no reason to drive around if you can get the problem solved on the phone.” Now THAT is small town service! Only in Alvin!!

Receptionist Patti is wonderful! She always has a smile and greets you by name. That means a lot in this age of technology. We have always had great experiences dealing with Chocolate Bayou, including Gayleen, Rachel J., Tiffany and the cashier staff. Everyone there does a fantastic job!

First off, this business comes with persistent problems. I won’t dive into the details but I hope they get fixed. The staff is wonderful, and make you feel welcome. I mean right when you walk in your greeting with a wide smile, unfortunately, in my case it’s difficult to get things fixed.

Worst financial institution ever! Inconvenient is an understatement. They DO NOT communicate anything with you, then charge whatever they deem reasonable. I warn everyone I know to stay away. What a joke!
